That guy isn't exactly emaciated, and he did a 2xBW DLs and BW C&Js strength endurance workout. I'm all for some good old fashioned hate, but that's a pretty legit display, particularly for a @fitter.protobuilder wrote:Newsflash: emaciation = definition

From "Practice" @F:

Elite...sure.
To be fair, they do have her at that gym:

And what does it say about a non-"sport" where a guy who has only been doing it for less than 4 months is in the finals? He doesn't even have "girl" times to post in his bio, he's that new...but guess what...his barbell numbers are very solid for an @Fer, probably from years of work (2.5xBW DL, BW Press, 3xBW BS, BW+ Sn, 2xBW C&J). Another example that simply being strong makes one good at @F:

If only people would realize that trying to "get good at @F" was the biggest waste of time and energy they could do, when simply compared to getting much stronger...Kyle Kasperbauer

155 on the bar would mean his BW C&J would be 155. His 2xBW DL = 310.Grandpa's Spells wrote: he did a 2xBW DLs and BW C&Js strength endurance workout. I'm all for some good old fashioned hate, but that's a pretty legit display, particularly for a @fitter.
Sorry, but not a legit display. Certainly not worthy of the rabid, adoring, camera-wielding crowd.

Re: The couch thread
I was wrong about the DLs. That was a BW C&J for 30 reps for time. I don't C&J, but that strikes me as a tough workout.

hmm.I had the honer of meeting the coach at Crossfit by Overload. He is by far the most down to earth person I ever meet. He is a skeptic yet open mined. He is humble yet proud of his achievements and contribution to fitness industry. This man took the time to speak to my son and I as well as others. He is a true human being.

He also turned water into gin, which was pretty cool.
