The beauty of Trump is that he did his messaging to Putin in plain sight, standing on stage. “Russia, if you are listening…” They were, and followed through.

That he did it again, asking Putin to look into Hunter Biden (the wrong Biden son died) emails even while Putin is invading Ukraine and going on a rapefest is…not surprising. But it is disappointing that the Repubs just went “meh”.

I was still in at the time, and was proud of how we dealt with it. Zero pushback from the Veep office either.

Definitely the wrong son died.

As a parent, I feel for Joe having to watch his son struggle through life, never coming close to what his older brother was. Weak and manipulable. Being born into expectations isn’t necessarily a gift.

I kind of feel the same about Don Jr, but at least Hunter keeps his distance from the politics. Don Jr gets right in there, but he’s weak and stupid too.

Here is an article by NBC about Manafort. If someone wants they can read between the lines. Especially about the Euromaidan. It was like the Jan 6 2021 "insurrection", except that the protesters had guns and really were Nazis.

Manfort also worked for Reagan, Dole and Ford. He's a "gun for hire". If he worked for Putin the article would have said so, but it doesn't. He worked for Yanukovitch and he worked for various 'right wing' people for decades.

Yanukovich, who also won an election, was thrown out of power after he refused to sign an "association" with the EU. This is what started the Euromaidan riots.

We "brokered" a deal that overthrew the last elected President of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovitch, back in 2014. Who can say if Zelenski was approved of first by the US and EU?

The front line aimed east towards Donetsk, not north east towards Russia..... Zelensky was not preventing a Russian invasion. Maybe the rumors that Kyiv was going to "settle Donbass" in March of 2022 really were true?

It's too early to tell how Ukraine will end up. I doubt that what we call Ukraine today will be "united". The Kyiv regime trusted the US. Too bad for them.

I'd like to see Ukraine be like Finland. Since 1945 it's been quiet. They do their thing.

Fantastic piece on UKR. I agree with everything. Baud is very careful to not cross the psychopathic Russiaphobes and hints at a great deal. He even mentions the possibility of an externally imposed Neutrality like with the Swiss. Which would be a decent solution as it would allow the Int'l Oligarchs to use it for their money laundering and provide RUS with a buffer state.

This is about dirty capitalism. Everyone involved in Ukraine, Nafod, is dirty.

"Dirty Capitalism" is not redundant, it's the consequence of partnerships between government and industry. When the force of the State joins capitalists we get fascism.

The Russians picked "separatist" republics that sit on the Yuzivska gas field. When these declared independence Dutch Shell stopped prospecting for shale gas.

We Americans want to sell Liquefied Natural Gas to Europe. Stirring the shit in Ukraine reduces supplies of Ukrainian and Russian gas to Europe.

Iran and the Persian Gulf states also have LNG to sell. Perhaps we need to start a war there too? I hope not.

Maybe part of our involvement is meant to sell US and EU weapons to Ukraine. Some will end up in the hands of terrorists. If not from Ukrainian thieves then from Russians hoping to do something "asymmetric".

You sidestepped Poroshenko and Yatsinyuk. I'm not surprised. I'd be ashamed of them too. Zelenksky may have won a standup election. I was talking about Victoria "The American Century" Nuland and Barack Hussein Obama, and their achievement of "brokering a deal". They picked Yatsinyuk and Poroshenko, we Americans had no right to do so.

What happened then follows to today.

The Swedes have been neutral since 1721. The last times that the Finns had allies was in 1945, and they were Nazi Germany. Neither one benefits from joining NATO.

Both countries need to sit this one out.

I have never said that I wanted either Biden brother dead. You have children, why would you wish such a horror onto anyone?

I oppose cheap virtue signaling like "socialism", graft/redistribution/vote buying schemes, 'common sense gun safety', and compulsory vaccination for glorified colds. I do not want to inflict misery onto anyone. I do not think that Wall Street knows what is best for everyone or anyone. Most of this crap comes from hirelings of Wall Street. A real friend of Joe would have given Hunter a job, one that shielded Joe from Hunter's lapses in good behavior. Hopefully Hunter could do enough to justify being on the payroll.

I do not think that Joe Biden has any real friends. Joe has people who use him for their own purposes.

I've heard 2 very, very similar prophecies occur in 2 different parts of the world this year.

- The war will spill over to the rest of continental Europe by year's end or the first half of 2023.
- China will be involved in the next 5-10 years sparking WW3.

Humans are the worst. I am continually amazed we’ve made it this far with nuclear weapons.

My MAGA hat wearing mom thinks we are going to get hit by an asteroid (Apophis) in 2029, unleashing the prophecies. The end times.
