There are no shortage of apps to do this. Try Stitcher. Save podcasts from the app and listen on or off line.

Re: Selling land

I've had some similar experience with inherited property. Note that I think the majority of my relatives should be in jail, so take this with a grain of salt. Every day your brother stays on there, his sense of ownership and entitlement increases. If you decide to hold and let it appreciate, do you ...

Re: Game of Thrones Season Five This Weekend!

John Snow lives. Too pretty to kill off? we posted a round-up of all the Game of Thrones actors who had been sighted in Belfast for the Season 6 script read-throughs. They included Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and many more. But while there were rumors that Kit Harington had been s...

Unusually Buff Kangaroo

End times. 1265349225905465744.png A kangaroo with unusually large muscles has recently taken up residence in a Brisbane suburb, prompting locals to ask, “Who’s this new stud in town?” The kangaroo is like, “Bro, do you even lift?” Resident Linda Hellyar almost ran into the animal when she was out w...

Re: Mountain Bike Thread

Just so you know, Giant actually manufactures all of the frames for most of the major bike companies (Specialized, Santa Cruz, Trek, etc.). At least this is what the owner of the bike shop I go to told me. He actually sells BMC bikes, a Swiss company. Wow-that's good knowledge. I always had it in m...

Re: Mountain Bike Thread

This is what I have. A Stumpjumper FSR 29. I ride platform pedals and added a dropper seatpost to it. Otherwise stock. I also have a Stumpie 26, and hard tail 26, and an old rigid framed MTB, but this is what I ride. The full squish is easier on the back. Lots of folks ride rigid frame single speed...

Re: Mountain Bike Thread

I'm getting ready to buy mountain bike. Why did you go hard tail? The bike looks great-what did it run you? It looks like a minimum of $2,500 to begin to get anything decent. I didn't like climbing in the full suspension BMC or Niner I tried.the BMC was 150mm of travel front and back and was like r...

Ripped the album off of YouTube. Chill music. This song is firmly stuck in my head. I really like that whole album. He did one a few years back called "Sea Change" that's in a similar vein. If you're in the mood for downbeat/chill stuff, here are a couple of other great bands I've recently found: h...

I wore my Dowins at a Rippetoe seminar-he told me the heel on them were way too high. That may cause you to think the heel on them is perfect.

Re: Serial podcast (big thumbs up) (No spoilers)

I got hooked and listened every week. It's great production value but I can't point out the negatives without spoilers. All in all, worth it I was raving about it for weeks. But now that I've had some time to reflect on it: it sucked. "Gee, the justice system is fucked up, and we sure are baffled"....

Re: LOL @ San Francisco

Dunno, but back here the homeless are kind of inert people. Throw them a dollar, or give them a coffee and they'll just nod their thanks. In SF I wouldn't think of getting so close. Apart from the initial Downtown experience, SF actually felt pretty safe, and I went all over - mostly on foot or bic...

Number 1&2 of places to stay away from: Civic Center and Powell Street BART stations.

Didn't realize we had locals here. What's the draw? I liked it but wasn't blown away. Tourists tend to go straight to the crap (like Fisherman's wharf and crappy restaurants) and miss the gems. Where did you stay? South of Market, but I already get how somebody could see certain parts of Chicago an...

I work downtown. You're either exaggerating or happened to time it just right. The only place you'll see people lighting up in public is at Civic Center BART (the home of the homeless), or at the 2 bike messenger hangouts around lower Market. It's not exactly Cheech & Chong around here.

I would bet the biggest differences between Muslims in the US and Europe are due to migration decisions. The more skilled, harder working people are more likely to move to a country where skill and hard work pay off. People who want to sit on their asses all day and yell about rules written in past...
