I didn't go to the Dr. I understand that some Dr's advise against the shot due to the possibility of potential Achilles tears down the road. So if I wasn't able to get it, thought I could do just as much good on my own. It's a pesky injury that you can work around. Good luck with it and hope it heal...

Sux about the foot problem.  I am just getting over a similar ailment.  Never gets the proper time to heal when you’re walking on it all the time and for me my livelihood is walking on steel, which made the recovery even slower.  Was able to continue training, but I cut down my volume on squats and ...
