Re: My State Has Gone Full Fucking Clownship

My only point is that there are costs to the disease and costs to the cure. So far the US has come up with imperfect, but hopefully effective, disease mitigation plans. Pretty soon, with more testing, we'll probably be able to game out scenarios for the cost of the disease. I agree. At some point t...

It sounds like the GOP is pushing for $500B payroll tax cut, which will do nothing...
Everybody can see through that one. Reducing taxes on a 0$ paycheck is nuts.

What are you morons promoting? That businesses closing will have the greatest impact on those who already didn't have a job?

Kindness and compassion is what may save the world (aggression and crusades already haven't), and that's what Peterson was lacking in his life teachings.
You must be thinking of a different Jordan Peterson.

Re: Jordan Peterson

The hostility toward Peterson puzzles me. IMO Peterson's fundamental message is to make the most of your life, to expect obstacles along the way and to take them as best you can. Each of us is on our individual hero's journey. What agitates such hate? ***** Or is it that "hierarchies happen"? Seems ...

One of the original doctors died from it. He was only 34 years old, not some geezer with a bunch of preexisting conditions.

Given his Whistleblower status, and his youth & health, he probably was Epsteined.

I feel like prosecutors could have offered him a deal..... "Dave Chappelle is going to do 5 minutes on you on his next Netflix special and destroy your career. Or you can do do 3 months in Cook County." Juicy: "I'll take the three months." Why not both? Seriously, false accusations of crimes deserv...

Maybe you've heard of this thing called an "investigation"? It's this thing that the Executive Branch is empowered to do. Or not do.

We both know what was going on here, it's obvious beyond obvious. I think you're mired in "Orange Man Bad" confirmation bias. And I question your apparent superpower to mind read the President. Back to the governing principle: "When the President's actions benefit BOTH the country AND his political...

Re: What to make of the election?

Trump never asked for an investigation of Biden. He asked Ukraine to announce one. From the transcript of the July 25 call: "There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that, so whatever you can do with the Attorney General ...

His defense has argued that he basically can't do anything impeachable, and that is the reason for acquitting him, having given up on the "He didn't do it" defense. Almost. The defense is, "When the President's actions benefit BOTH the country AND his political future, then such action is proper." ...

I've had an IR sauna for about three years and it reaches a top temp. of 130 degrees. Now, many studies discuss the benefits of temps of 170 degrees; I don't know what that bodes for my low powered sauna.

If I were to start from zero, I'd shop for a sauna that can hit higher the temperatures.
