Re: Can an airdyne be adjusted for a 6'5 mostly torso avg armed guy?

So, I'm 6'4" and 300 (I'm not as fat as I sound. I swear. A lifetime of Lifting and judo). I have a an Evolution Pro or Comp (I forget which. Small wheel, big flat fan blade, large upright pillar with monitor at the top) I ride it with the seat all the way down. Never any problems. My only two comp...

I spent some time reading the rest of kbusa's site, and yeah that's the difference. I'm going to pick one up I think.

Re: Rogue vs. Perform Better KBs

Speaking of this; I was looking at Kettlebell USA's metrixx elite... It appears to me that there is a greater distance between the handle and the ball than there is on their regular metrixx ones (as well as more distance than on other brands I have owned / seen). Can anyone confirm this as true? Equ...

Re: Those with martial knowledges

The Ice Dragon BJJ is under George Andersch, who also runs a school in Fargo, ND. http://www.graciemag.com/2012/11/submission-isnt-happening-in-training-use-the-lapel/ I'm going down this coming Thursday for class, and they said I could come in 3 or 4 times to see if it's something I think I'd like ...

How much does this site cost per year? I assume it's a higher capacity hosting plan / or even a dedicated server?? Is there a better option than the paypal racket, like google wallet?

Re: Those with martial knowledges

I'm going to go down on the 14th and 15th for work, and will check out Ice Dragon. Not that I won't even look at the others, but that one holds the most appeal. I have very little and limited MA experience, so thanks for the answers.

Those with martial knowledges

So my hometown used to contain only McDojangs, i.e., a couple taekwondo schools located in strip malls where 1st graders could test for their black belt after putting in a hard 12 months of study. In the years I have been gone, things have changed, and now there is; 1. Ryobu-Kai Karate 2. Green drag...

Re: Rogue vs. Perform Better KBs

If you want rogue, I have a 32 and a 40 kg I'll sell you or trade you for something. Not recommended for snatches, cleans, or anything where the handle rotates in your grip - whatever else that might be. They are far too rough IMO. For swings, presses, etc, they're fine. PM me if interested.

Re: 500kg/1100lb Deadlift

I shouldn't even say this because lifting that amount of weight is impressive, and no doubt a lot of training and effort went into it. Nevertheless, I find myself disappointed when I see lifting straps... no matter how petty that makes me seem. If Konstantinovs, Magnusson, Bolton can pull 950 to 1,...

Re: STAR WARS VII Offical prerelease thread!

A lot of copy and paste from episode 4, JMO. Kylo-Ren was also a big fucking disappointment for me. I would have liked him 100% better if he would have left his mask on the entire time. Then I wouldn't have had to be reminded of the mongoloid with the four foot nose and children's drawing ears playi...

I searched this and found three threads in the past couple years that were worth a read. None of them talked with any depth on DHEA specifically. Have any of you used it for long enough to notice anything, and have you had before and after bloodworm done? I went in to have my T levels checked and th...

Warning: Huge Dickhead post ahead! Rather than do anything at all, I think we should contemplate - at length - the optimal distance between the rings. Anecdotal evidence and internet nobodies claim that 22 inches is the perfect distance to set the rings apart. It is the golden distance, equivalent t...

I don't know what you mean by flex bar, but I have a theraband licorice bar I've used for lateral epicondylitis before, and it helped. I put Dit Da Jow on it afterward. Legit DDJ requires good judgement to use, so may not be the best thing for us at IGx.
