Re: Hearst Castle

The castle itself and history is pretty cool if you get a good guide. I felt the tours were a bit of a rip off since there are four separate $25 tours and no way to get a full tour without taking the tram back and forth from the visitor center to the castle. For anyone wine tasting on the same day t...

Re: Where do I start with investing?

ROI on simple investments applicable to novices with low barriers to entry is shit right now. The best investment you can make is in yourself and enhancing your ability to make the skrilla. The advice to build an emergency fund as soon as you have a positive cash flow is good. I also like minimizing...

Enjoyable, but I'm with most of you guys in thinking that Tarentino could have stepped it up a couple notches especially towards the middle of the movie. Overall I found it enjoyable and got some really good laughs out of it.

Ended up with these:

Obviously cheap, they stay on my face while running / biking, minimal distortion, and I don't give a shit if I mess them up. Good buy.

I sat in the latest generation at a car show awhile back and was impressed. Seemed like a Camary killer and I think only the Chevy name holds it back.

Beats the fuckin shit out of Vista, especially for laptops. The power management is way better. The new functions on the taskbar are nicely done. All and all its what Vista should have been just a few years late. The bad news is OSX is still better.

Re: Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope

Nice work man... I'm content with spending six bucks annually on cheap plastic speed ropes from Big 5 and Target for now. I'll probably look in to something heavier in the future though.

I've never been happy with leather ropes. I'll probably go back to a cheap speed rope like this or something similar.

Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope

A really good rope if you take care of it. After about a year of occasionally dropping it on rubber matting, the plastic handles began to crack around the Patented Swivel Bearing System. Some electrical tape temporarily prevented further cracking, but eventually the Patented Swivel Bearing System br...

Its fast as hell but its fugly. Appears to have what most of FireFox has but I have to look for it at this stage. Overall, it is interesting but not worth the download unless you have too much time on your hands.

The price on the manly 80lbs xvest seems steep for what it is. Has anyone tried any alternatives other than the previously reviewed Gold's version? This one looks decent http://www.resistancewear.com/mens/index.html
