I’d never heard of Gene Wolfe until he passed away recently, and got steered to his books. Currently reading Shadow and Claw, which is a combination of two books. He is great, and I regret not taking him up sooner. Predict I’ll read more from him.

20 mile gravel ride, up and down hill training. Basically 5 big climbs with fast descents to the next climb. Felt pretty good throughout. Took the gravel bike down a rocky double track for one of the descents, no problems.

You don't think they talk to each other? By the time of the 4th FISA warrant, this stuff was news. That suggests Judge #4 was likely to give this all some serious scrutiny.

Really, do you trust Trump and what he says about all this?

Just as the Mueller Investigation put the lie to the Russian Collusion charge against Trump... Collusion is not a crime. It is not a legal thing. Who takes Televangelists seriously? Unfortunately, a lot of people. I have to agree with this assessment, though Copeland...described flying commercial as "flying in a long tube with a bunch of demons — and it's deadly." heh It's not the first time a big-time televangelist has been in hot water ove...

Damn, those Giants are a lot of bike for the money. Did you get the 1x or the double? Tons of clearance too
2x11

I also looked at a Cannondale Topstone 105, but they had the Giant in the right size at the LBS, so Giant it was. I like the color scheme, to boot.

According to Wikipedia...the counterculture movement really kicked off with the death of Kennedy in 63.

Still illegal if you have a job with federal contracts that require random drug testing. I almost got some from the local 7-11 before I had a “wait a minute” moment.

Fuzzy, those look like awesome trails. Bram, nice ride! Just picked up a new gravel bike to replace my cross bike. We have endless gravel where I live. Got a Giant Revolt. Carbon frame, hydraulic disk brakes, 40 mm tires. I’m digging it. It can handle double track and not too dicey single track just...

I don’t know that the whole free love and sex thing didn’t go with the “free at last” vibe. Think of the 60s era, and he wasn’t a theoretically celibate priest. They certainly weren’t in opposition, potential watching of a rape aside.

Re: Still not going gently into that good night

Rainy busy week, not much happened. But today...

BOUGHT A NEW BIKE! A Giant Revolt 2 gravel bike. Took it for a 10 mile ride, back to bike shop to grab a spare tube and some accessories. Easy cruise.

Went for a ruck, standard hill route, 1+30 and so on. Nice sweat fest.
