Re: tennis elbow

HH, glad you got some relief. If the problem returns, you might experiment with a Theraband Flexbar. It has helped me with both Golfer's & Tennis Elbow. There are several YouTube instructionals on technique. As a tennis player who has battled TE many times over the years, I second the above. Tyler ...

Re: Steve Maxwell Advices

I find $35 for the book of isometrics a little steep. One set of 6 reps, 6 seconds rest, that was in one 1970s booklet I had when I was a school kid. Three times a week. Exercises are not hard to figure out. I followed it for several month and then noticed some strange bumps on my shoulders that we...

Re: 5+ years of slavishly following T-mag

Been to a Grand Slam or pro tourney? The quickness/speed has to be seen up close to fully appreciate it. Never to a slam, but many pro events and exos. You are right. They play a different game than us mere mortals. The last one was in April when the Powershares boys had an event In Lincoln. Mac, C...

Re: DrDonkeyLove: Donk Dynasty

One more question. Regarding Wunderlist, I bought it a while back, and I see that it was the app of the year, but how do you use it? Anything beyond old fashioned GTD? I only ask because using it daily is on your to do in 2014 list. While on the subject, the 2nd place (I believe) app of the year was...

Re: DrDonkeyLove: Donk Dynasty

Thanks. I added dynamic flexibility back into my regular routine a couple of years ago, heavily influenced by Tom Kurz and others. Also, I wanted to be able to do splits in my mid-50's :-). Crusty was ahead of the game. "Ritual" is a good way to log it, because why type that every day? A ritual shou...

Re: DrDonkeyLove: Donk Dynasty

I like the log format. I'm stealing a few ideas here and there.

I have my own ritual, but I can't find where you define your's for logging purposes. Can you elaborate?

Good luck with the 2014 goals.

Re: A Quiet Place to Log My Training

Thanks Mickey and Abstract. The weight loss is not a big deal. I'm not really overweight, it is just a matter of getting a little lighter to move better at singles tennis. It is a trade off. I'll actually be almost too skinny if I lose more weight, but it makes a difference in my movement, and lesse...
