Srs question: where are these complaints being made, and what brand cars are the color mplainers driving? I'm unaware of what you're talking about. I work for the California Commission. I know we're hearing about it. I have heard second-hand that the other western states are hearing about it two. T...

The Musk vision is the roof, hood, paint, etc. will become some type of super solar array to recharge batteries during sunny conditions. Part pipe dream and part possibility. Maybe. For now you need charging stations. And there aren't enough of them. I don't follow. home or work charging stations a...

Re: Five year-old wants to exercise with me

My kids LOVED measuring how far they could jump. They'd mark a starting line on the floor and try and outjump each other. They'd mark their jumps with chalk. So, that would be the warm-up and then I'd let them do a little circuit or just play on the rings. This was the best call. We did a bunch of ...

And Brooks et al can throw themselves out a window for hating on curls and bb'ing. Caused a lot of injuries and made lifiting dull for most everyone. I wish Brooks/Justa et al hadn't taken themselves so seriously . I mean, sandbag snatches, tossing rocks, wearing 200 lb. chainmail vests, 1-inch lif...

Building out sufficient charging stations to make electric cars a sensible proposition for all but the most ardent early adopters has been tricky.

Five year-old wants to exercise with me

My very recently five year-old daughter has been saying that she wants to exercise with me. I thought she would forget about it, but she's brought it up a couple of times now. So I told her we could give it a shot and see if she likes it. So: I'm pretty sure she doesn't really understand what exerci...

Re: Anyone feeling unmotivated?

For me motivation is very ... circadian. I work out (can't honestly call it training anymore), if at all, first thing in the morning, starting at 5:30 or 6. During the summer months, I'm motivated out the ass. It's bright early; the air is warm; I'm ready to go without much prodding. During the wint...

Re: Goals for 2017

people don't change if your goals are consistent with who you are and have been, you've got a shot at them. if your goals require you to be a different, perhaps "better," person, they're not gonna happen . pick realistic goals. I'm an alcoholic. I had a goal to stop drinking. I stopped drinking.

Re: Who actually likes turkey?

Capon is a tastier big bird, but it can be hard to find and it tends to be expensive. Eh. I can live with turkey; it's traditional; but I'd rather eat other things.
