Re: Gabapentin and sciatica?

Stretch. Glutes, hip flexors, calves multiple times per day. Stretch hamstrings, quads, groin once a day. Walk, as much as possible. That's the best starting point. Muscle relaxers and Motrin take the edge off. A Xanax will help as well if it's mentally starting to beat her down. Once the pain is un...

Re: The Hard Reset.

Was thinking about your situation and our conversation about sleds. This is the best way IMO to do all forward dragging http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cK_y2kO51qw It doesn't stress the abs or back nearly as much as an over the shoulder/harness drag or from a waist belt attachment. I've tried every str...

Re: Fixing shit

I keep saying I am going to discontinue pushes and chins for all rows and upper back for a while but I always end up doing them. Then I'm pissed several hours later when my shoulders and elbows bother me. Normally lasts several days. Maybe this time I will mean it.

Hmm. I wonder if it would work as well with me being on a single test vs you being on a test blend. I'm just using cypionate but I may try it for a few weeks.

Re: Fixing shit

Light pulling and pushing as long as it's not on a waist belt is probably fine. Just nothing where you have to brace the abs and rotate, brace and extend, or bear down hard. I think pushing and pulling may be perfect over the long haul. Yeah I hate to jump on the Louie Simmons train but this shit w...

5-13 No training. Banged the Amazon like screen door in a wind storn. Heating pad first part of the day. Now ice. Later more heat. Jesus Christ, I wish I knew you better. I am biting my tongue right now. There is so many ways I could go with this. For instance: 1) I did this workout last week with ...

Re: Fixing shit

What kind of sled are you using? Apprently pulling a sled is kinda contraindicated for me but light pushes might be where it's at. Contemplating building one and for the life of me, I can't see why this design with a basket instead of a loading pin isn't better than a prowler. Disregard most of the...

Re: Take a walk

Cool, I had not thought of the local public school for that. School parking lots are usually well kept and flat around here, only busy with traffic in the early morning and early afternoon, its public domain, best place I've found to drag on pavement in peace. Also school practice fields are good d...

Re: Take a walk

Last year before I bought my own sled I would drag a tire and sandbags at a baseball field beside the high school. People looked at me like I was a moron then. Now that I have a sled most people that have asked me about it have thought it was awesome and asked where they could buy one. I live in a s...

Re: Take a walk

I do my sled dragging in the parking lot of my oldest kids middle school at about 830am. It's right across from our town hall as well.
