Evolutionary is better. I think the harness or Gable grip is very well handled. The twister is just flash, but then again, so is flying triangles and armbars. Not fearing halfguard but embracing it is nice as well. The rubber guard is Nino Schembri's if I am not mistaken, but Bravo exploits it well....

Jiujitsu Unleashed by Eddie Bravo

Buy the book. Eddie's innovations take his JJ to a level that can no longer be described as BJJ. It is 10th Planet JJ. He uses the Harness or Gable grip extensively with underhooks, half guard, rubber guard, twister, etc. His setups and sweeps are very applicable and innovative. This kid is a bit of...

I deal with whatever Costco sells for 19.00 at six pounds. Mixed in with oats, flax, almonds, walnuts, berries, and Udo's oil, with Splenda, it is good and a very balanced and complete breakfast. Two scoops is 40 grams of protein. I nice restaurant alternative is an Eggbeater omelette, with veggies,...

Put this information about the Ironmind grippers vs the Pavel DVD on DD forum. Everyone should just complain. No problem with a 20 minute dvd if it costs 15 bucks. Shipping should be cheaper and better. I complained about Beyond Bodybuilding and got the price slashed by 50%. I have yet to buy a copy...

Steve Cotter's Full Kontact Kettlebell's Two- Applied Strength. I anxiously awaited viewing Steve Cotter's new DVD. His first DVD was very impressive and concise. He pioneered the ideas of positions of strength, and positions of compromise when performing martial based strength moves. His opening se...

I think it is like Sonnon's, "the only neck exercise you will ever need" bit.

I have my exercise count up to 30 with some of the Steve Maxwell stuff.
Nice recovery work with JS bands and a foam roller for the muscle fascia.

For you insiders, what ever happened to Doug Szolek?? I liked his articles and use of the 45lber. His DVD on the single heavy clubbell is well delivered as well. For a short period, Sonnon changed his mag to be very physically oriented. Then he decided to get all spacey with his approach. I think th...

Just get a triple bladed Mach 3 or whatever. Get in the shower and shave as the shampoo soaks in your head. Time management. Doing it sightless improves tactical awareness and your imaging skills. I never use a mirror, just touch. The humidity of the shower and the shampoo gives you a good shave. Yo...

Let's see shoulder walk and back walk around. --That completes my curiousity.

Maxwell's tape has some nice warmups, core, and strength stuff.
There is a new BJJ drills tape from Stephen Kesting on grapplearts.com.

Lots of fun material out there.

Strength forums exist for trading data like this. I will post a review of Steve Maxwell's grappler tapes next week. Remind me guys! My work schedule sucks royally, but next week I'm off. I only have to work on my fitness biz.

I'll also review some martial arts stuff as well.

Thanks. I really appreciate this. I had been doing the light 26lb deadlift outside of my legs with my feet together. I almost try to track the bell along my It band and sit back to let it kiss the ground and start back up to the other side. This Hockey Deadlift has a great effect on the iliotibial b...

Could you describe the elbow greaser, slalom, arm bar, hack for chest opening, karate twist, and a few oddball others?? Most are fairly common and the details make the difference. I am just curious.

I think I have most the exercises down, but could someone list them and small paragraph describing it?? I'd rather have alot of this stuff listed, then people can decide if they want the product or not. Jeff Martone's H2H-2 has a complete list of exercise on the DD website. It is lengthy and fun. Go...

Actually Steve covered more mobility drills at the San Diego stretching camp last summer. I took notes. Nice stuff. I have been adding some other stuff from other sources. I have one other old source I am going to dig up. I may get all this in line for my second DVD. Variety is the spice of life and...

Just watched Mike Mahler's latest dvd. First off, very nice production. The music is hardcore headbanger stuff, and I think most action type productions should start this way. (I love Rodney King's Crazy Monkey productions for this reason). The beach is a perfect setting for this California powerhou...

Chas Clements has a bottle opener as well. Poke around http://www.kuntao-silat.com He could custom make knuckles. He is a metal and leather smith. OLD time DeThouars student. He is also semi-disabled, uses a cane, but is mean as hell, and along with Steve Gartin, will fight to death. (I don't use th...

There is a bottle opener/fist load on South Narc's page. Very legal/lethal.

If you are interested, it is shivworks.com
