Re: The Destroyer

Several thoughts... 1. It ain't no bodybuilding contest. 2. The heavyweight division is riddled with some of boxing's most shocking upsets (Spinks/Ali, Douglas/Tyson) simply because those boys hit hard and one punch can make all the difference. Joshua looked like he never recovered after that left ...

Re: The Destroyer

If it’s Destroyer v Wilder next who y’all got? Wilder may not have the belts for too much longer. Wilder's fighting Ortiz next. Ortiz has less of a chance of winning than in his last fight due to his age, but he's still dangerous and if he's a smart boxer will adapt his game plan. He could take the...

Re: CBD Oil Uses?

Was given a sample grab bag of Green Roads. Tried a drop under the tongue when I was out of melatonin. It put me to sleep pretty quickly. Tried it also during the day. There was a mild decreased in anxiety. The grab bag also had a small container of pain relieving gel. It was decent and moderately e...

Re: Meat only, keto etc

I've done periods of keto, all meat and cyclical low carb ever since Mauro DiPasquale put out the Anabolic Diet back in the 90's. It was always for fat loss. I'm a natural born fatty and have been overweight since I was a kid. Adherence was not too bad, but eating meat all the time is no fun. I neve...

Re: cbd oil for inflammation

The best thing I ever experienced for joint pain relief was eliminating dairy, eggs, nightshades, all grains and taking a bunch of digestive enzymes from this place https://usenzymes.com/collections/all I took their Theraxym, Seaxym, Serraxym, Nattoxym and Digestxym products. I did three of each a d...

Re: cbd oil for inflammation

I see lots and lots of anecdotal evidence that it works. I don't know what the actual research says because I just never looked into it. A vendor at a seminar I went to (i'm a chiro) gave me a free sample of an oral and topical dose. The topical was pretty good at relieving moderate to severe muscul...

Re: Visualizations for Chemo?

That's terrible news. I hope he pulls through.

Why can't he use the same visualization? If it worked for once, who's to say it won't work for him again?

If he wants something new, how about the chemo is like a legion of vikings storming across a field to kill the enemy [the cancer cells]?

Re: End of an Era

Truly sad. I saw Motorhead for the first time in Grand Rapids MI in 2008. Just fucking unbelievable. I had the opportunity to see them a few more times after. I think the last was 2013 or 2014. Not the original lineup, but a bunch of maniacs nonetheless.

Re: GGG/Alvarez

I was OK with the draw I guess. Canelo did land a lot of good shots, even if GGG walked through them, they still landed. Couple uppercuts, couple overhand rights. I think GGG controlled the whole fight, landed his jab consistently and landed some good power shots. All the while backing Canelo into ...

GGG/Alvarez

No one's talking about it?

I had GGG with a slight advantage, but it was so close I wouldn't argue too much with people putting Alvarez on top.

The judging was horrendous however and highlights the corruption in boxing.

Can't wait for the re-match.

Re: Lets talk boxing

GGG/Canelo - tough call. I want GGG to win, but he's getting old(er). Alvarez has been in a huge number of fights since he turned pro. At 27 he's had 51 fights. That's a lot of shots to the dome. TBI's being what they are I wonder how slow he is from all that beating? He's still an animal and his yo...

Re: Lets talk about the opioid crisis

To me this topic brings an interesting parallel: guns. Pretty much all the arguments can be used for both opioid and gun control. Guns kill, opioids kill. Both can do good if used appropriately and responsibly. If opioids prescription should be limited so should be the sale of guns. Conversely, if ...

Agreed. I've been unmotivated as fuck for any type of weightlifting. I've decided to just go into the garage and do something. Anything. I can't seem to get myself up for anything traditional, but 1 handed DL's, 1 handed BB snatch and CL&j, strand pulling, and other assorted weird stuff seem quite d...

So i guess the answer is to just suck it up and go somewhere else for dental work. Actually, my buddy went to Costa Rica for his chompers. It doesn't sound that bad.

Health insurance premiums

My premiums jumped up 25% this year. You can say what you want about the PPACA and Obama and all that other shit, but I'm still paying through the nose for 7K deductible. There has to be a better way than Healthcare.gov. Also, there's no dental coverage with my plan, which is the one thing I really ...

Anybody ever have their car painted

I have a Tacoma that I needs a new hood. Some truck skipped something off the highway a few months ago and put a big gash in the front of the hood. It's not worth repairing and a new hood is not as pricey as I thought. I need the hood painted black and it's got to match the rest of the truck. Any id...

I just looked up Ido Portal. Sweet tap dancing christ.
