Re: Right now I'm drinking
Sam Adams recently is selling in my area twelve packs labelled "hopology" consisting of variations of styles expressed as IPAs. I'm here to tell you "Grumpy Monk" is worth sampling. An abbey style hopped like an IPA , it works really well.

website for the show hosts the pilot for anyone to see. As one who finished high school on a usaaf base in England and enlisted to serve a two year term in Germany I thought the show captured the spirit of the times just about perfectly. Chessman- Yeah, and my guy is now on a mission to spread the word. I was in but never deployed overseas during the beginning, there but for the grace of god, etc. Judobrian, I'll pass the word back. Given that his GI (gastro intestinal) doc is a VA employee I wonder if the administration would appro...

I do not have an exhaustive medical history in these folks. Speaking to them I've learned that a significant fraction, perhaps half, of their symptoms are of some kind of auto-immune disorder. Much of there other symptoms match well with the described effects of excess acetylcholine. the noted impro...

Re: Right now I'm drinking
Here in Nap-Town I've been to eleven different local small breweries. There are more here. But until I win the lottery I am filling my growlers on sunday evenings at Fountain Square Brewery. Tonight I shall enjoy more of the porter. I enjoyed a stout and an IPA whilst picking up my weekly growler fi...

Arbor Day "Paul's Treehouse" It was the day after the governor called out the National Guard, but Morris did not think of it that way; it was the morning after the second night Paul had spent in the tree, and Morris brushed his teeth with Scotch after he looked into Paul's bedroom and saw ...

three things:
1) Three Floyds in Munster Indiana makes excellent beer! 2)Thomas brothers in Madison makes excellent cider. Try the Cheiftans' for some retro flavor. 3)My continuing experiment with "stale" ferments- batches I left lying around in carboys for more than two years has shown me that it's bet...

Re: Beer!!! and other fermented bev'ages
Tonight I shall imbibe of my two year old light struck sour cider. It's not vinegar but it is sour as a lemon. I think the light and long secondary time got rid of every last sugar chain so all that's left is the sours. % alcohol is unknown, but the end of the first pint starts my buzz.
