Re: What to make of the election?

I'm talking about Clinton insinuating the Russians want Tulsi to run as a 3rd party candidate as some scheme to hurt the eventual Democratic nominee. That makes no sense to me because Tulsi would pull more of the independents that would ordinarily lean Trump but would jump at the opportunity to vot...

Re: What to make of the election?

I think Tulsi would probably pull more votes from the Republicans than the Democrats... No way Look who is giving this candidate with sub-single digits polling press time. That tells you everything you need to know. She has ZERO chance to win the Dem nomination. Along with Beto. Crabs in a bucket. ...

Re: What to make of the election?

I think Tulsi would probably pull more votes from the Republicans than the Democrats, hurting Trump much more than Warren or Bernie (I'm assuming Biden is toast from being exposed for the next 12 months of impeachment back and forth).

Re: What to make of the election?

So apparently anyone who doesn't toe the Clinton/DNC line is smeared as a Russian asset. Nothing like a cackling bitch who funneled millions of dollars from Russia into her family's "foundation" calling out someone else as a Russian puppet. The DNC is looking more like a shit show every day, and the...

I've gotten into the 20's in a day on hikes before. And I was carrying all my stuff for the night. So 2 hours and no backpack is just phoning in the effort.

Re: Ineos 1:59 Challenge

Was there a crutch? Meaning he had a van in front of him so he could draft....it was downhill......anything like that? There was a car maybe 50 meters in front of the pace group that was beaming a laser onto the ground in front of the pacers that kept them in their exact lanes and on a perfect 2:50...

When I do my strides and top end speed work, I get around 3:50-4:00 pace for a bit. 200m repeats are at about his record pace. Absolutely staggering he did that for 26.2 miles.

Re: LGBTQXYZ Town Hall Crazy Train

I think this whole thing jumped the shark when I read an article in HuffPo about a female that identified as a male who needed access to some type of reproductive medical help. Can't remember if was an abortion or what. But the gist of the article was how uncomfortable the person felt because there ...

Re: Ineos 1:59 Challenge

I don't know. I tend to think these efforts in the 1-2 hour range at crazy intensity is a much more challenging task than the ultra distances at lower intensity. There's just something especially gut wrenching about walking that line between barely able to maintain it and blowing the fuck up. The 2 ...

Ineos 1:59 Challenge

Anybody else keeping up with this at all? Eliud Kipchoge is going to try and run 26.2 in under 2 hours this Saturday morning. Not an official WR due to the pacing strategy, but still will go down as maybe the single most impressive feat of human endurance if he can do it. Live stream on youtube for ...

Same story with sodium and links to high blood pressure. Most new data is showing no correlation. The issue all along was probably the food all that salt was covering, not the sodium content.

Funny as hell that all of Trumps emoluments violations, where he blatantly uses his office to pack rooms at his properties goes unchallenged. Re: Is this the end for Bernie, bros?

Agreed.
I wonder if he pulls the plug himself and endorses Warren. She's maybe my 3rd pick at this point, but a Bernie endorsement would pretty much seal the deal if his supporters fell in with her. It would at least let the Democrats avoid a mud slinging slug fest leading up to the general.

Re: Is this the end for Bernie, bros?

I think this is not that big a deal for Bernie, but may well torpedo his campaign. Even if the other Dems stay away from it, you know Trump now has a major bullet in the chamber to fire at Bernie if they square off in debates. Stints are such a common thing now that there's no way this should be a d...

Re: Exercises for knee pain?

It's been my experience with knee pain that it stems from poor hip strength/alignment/function of some sort. Doing a general strength routing for the lower body of lunges, TRX glute bridge/hamstring curl combo, squats, swings/DLs takes care of the basic muscle work for the hips. In addition I so a b...

Slim chance of getting through House We are already over the 218 threshold on this. What's the cliffnotes? Impeachment hearings for the Ukraine call will backfire spectacularly. Slim chance of getting through House, zero chance of 2/3 Senate voting for Impeachment. Kyle Kulinski is more of a leftist as I am, so ignore the Bernie love at the beginning if you're a redder shade than that, but I think his take on impeachment near the end of the clip is spot on.

To be clear, I think Trump is as crooked as Lombard Street. That's because he didn't specifically say "dig into the Bidens' dirt or kiss you...
