Re: Bullet Journaling

I've been recommending Google Keep for a few months now. It's made a huge difference and it's a free, easy to use, app. I still keep a physical notebook and use Google Calendar, but organization and limitations inherent in those platforms made adding Keep a no-brainer for me. I think that’s the app...

Re: Essential Kettlebelling

OALC has been my go to movement with the kettlebell for the past 10 years. I feel it’s the best bang for your buck movement. These days with a 3 year old and 16 month old twins, it’s been tough to find time to train. I find if I’ve only got 5, 10, 15 minutes or so, I’ll just grab a KB and do OALC. I...

Re: Right now I'm reading

It's an excellent "summary" if anything 800 pages long can be described that way. It's very engaging reading though. As I read it I could feel that I've gotten old to some extent, as the endless slaughter was pretty stomach-turning. Don't want to read about war for a while. It was cool to be readin...

Re: intermittent fasting recap

So IF to me has always been a 20+ hour fast. But now I see 18,16 and even 14 hour fasts being recommended. 14 hours? Really? Finish dinner at 6pm and don’t eat until 8am. That’s not difficult at all. I guess my question is. Have they determined a minimal effective dose regarding the length of fast? ...

Re: UPK-ISIS Unite: Who here still trains with KBs?

Still my main form of exercise. Mostly kettlebell “jogging” we discussed a few years ago. Set the clock for 10, 15, 20 minutes etc. And then go non stop switching hands every 5, 8, 10 reps etc. Depending on how I feel.

Since our twins were born in June(we also have a toddler) I haven’t had time to do much of anything. I’m hoping to get back on the wagon in a few weeks when we have more of a consistent schedule going.

I watched it with the sound low to avoid being influenced by the crowd and commentary.

I scored it 7 to 5 for GGG. I was fine with the draw though.

Not sure how they are these days but a few years ago, DPX’ QC was notoriously shitty. I knew a couple of guys who had to return their hests because the lock bar gave out.

Speaking of Whitaker. I watched his fight against Hurtado for the first time since watching it live back in 97. He really went full on savage after getting outclassed for most of the fight. I missed or forgot that gotta watch. Sweet pea was absolutely amazing. He had some wars at the end of his car...

This thread is timely for me. I've been having the same issue lately but the pain is upper back on the right side and includes tightness in the chest. I went to the clinic and my doctor prescribed me a PPI for acid reflux. She didn't seem too concerned that it was heart related because the symptoms ...
