Re: Jack Reacher

To a large degree his sarcasm is carried off well by Tom Cruise. The bar scene in the first film was SO, "Pittsburgh",.. it was frightening. I'll have to view the second just to see how the narrative changed.

Now that is funny.

Online client graduated with me. Lends perspective to how we, "decide" on a daily basis. At my age.. the death thing,.. yeah... my close friend and best man at my wedding passed a while back.. That hit me hard....Lots of saving each other's lives in bad places had preceded that... we escaped it all....

Super Nugget Worthy thread here.

One client with 'iffy' elbows and one with biceps surgery. Occlusion training has been beneficial.

Downsides of Matthew. 1. Big Ass. 500 miles wide. 2. It's a variable track.. with some Western movement.. closer to the coast. 3. It's WET vs dry like Andrew. Upsides 1. It will pass and things will be back to normal. 2. It's not hitting Miami, therefore no migration of their culture to Fort Lauderd...

Tart Cherry Capsules from lef.org have helped 2X per day. I can generate massive soreness from eccentric or volume or weird stretching. Fish Oil at 3 grams of combined EPA/DHA per day. Other than that HRT if you are not already.

Re: Heart rate monitors

Today my new Polar H7 went nuts. Sure enough, I was wearing an UnderArmor shirt while I was doing cardio . I've only had it two weeks, so I'm returning to Amazon, and I just ordered a Wahoo Tickr to replace it. Thanks for the recommendation, AL! Not the Captain America version... maybe someone from...

Re: Progesterone

Good for women. Eliminates those pre menopausal migraines and also puts them to sleep like babies. Supposedly as a topical on your nutsack in tiny amounts it can be helpful for certain things. Go to excelmale.com and do a search. Lots of data there.

Re: Old Man Training

My plan all hinges on throttle control. BJJ as many nights a week as I can squeeze in usually no more than 4, GS 3 days a week, and cardio at least 3 times a week maybe more. I'm leaning away from the bike and more towards the c2 but I also need to run since I'm kicking around doing a ultra distanc...

The workout I like the best is running/footwork and Kali stickwork with heavy sticks or pipes. End with stretching and planking. To keep weight up.. I do multiple joint stuff push push, leg press, lots of swings. Hard to beat swings for heart health and body health. Daily is a walk of 45 min. Diet i...

Isaac Hayes Template is good for life, not for peaking. That being said, you are shooting distance from a lot of things using it. I'm incorporating it into the next ebook for at least one variation.

Re: Kali Fitness by Lonely Dog

Yes... most the martial arts guys have to be WAY toned down.. then watch each week how they manage. AoW is hardly the only answer, but if you add swings and rucking or running.. it's had a good track record. Literally, Top Dog, Eric Knauss, used to run sand dunes in Hermosa and swing pipes which he ...

Benjamin Rittner, or Lonely Dog of the Dogbrothers is not the biggest guy, but he's an aggressive, smart, fighter. I like his YouTube channel so dropped a few bucks on a download of his video, Kali Fitness. It's not good or bad. It's OK. He shows clips of the movements and application during a works...

Re: Those with martial knowledges

I'd go with the BJJ. Too many BS schools. Hardcore Gung Fu is around and not common. My former client just got back from the Shaolin in China. Guess what? No mystical, too deadly for UFC crap. Hundreds of hours of running, calisthenics, sparring, flipping tires, 300 kicks per day, pad work, clinch w...
