Also, allows @fitters to associate themselves with people who do badass things without actually doing anything badass themselves. See: how @F plays up its tenuous connections to the special operations community.

Re: Spotify Premium

I've got the Beats Audio (formerly Mog) subscription instead of Spotify, but agree wholeheartedly that a streaming audio subscription is money incredibly well spent. Spotify is a little more user-friendly, but Beats streams at a higher bitrate (or at least did when I made the choice between the two)...

Maffetone. 40 minutes, 2.68 miles, moderate hills, 137 BPM. I've added a little over a third of a mile to my 40-minute session. Still mostly walking, but the numbers are trending the right way.

Coming to this conclusion myself. Also, full body is boring as piss if you're using the same movements every time.

Re: Staying sane

More Maffetone. Stress high tonight (wife's pain a little bit better today, but anxiety and despair high), and it showed in the heart rate. Really couldn't jog much at all and keep it below 138. Still, got the session in and was able to be there for her. That's what counts. 40 min, avg. 138, 2.41 mi.

Another radical shift in training, as I realized that the full-body workouts, even going light, are just not fun when your stress is too high. So back to the drawing board.
