Re: New Gym Toys for Xmas??

Wife surprisingly bought me one of those vibrating rollers. It's basically a 6" PVC pipe with three different vibrate settings. I really like it for loosening up my problem areas. Imagine a car buffer you can roll on. It is really good actually. I was surprised.

Re: Inversion table

I have one. I thought I would use it, but in reality, I use it sparingly. I do find some benefit in using it after heavy pulling or squatting sessions. In limited doses. I cannot tolerate it for anything more than a couple minutes at a time. Since it's free and you have room, go for it. No downside ...

All I have to say is.....damn!!!! At first blush, I thought what was at the top of each week was the weekly allotment until I realized that was EOD.....fook me. That's a lot of oil for the body to process. May not need sythonol if he's putting 3 ccs of whatever into each bicep/delt head/calf...

Now, a question for a friend... :yawinkle: There are obviously different gear cycles and various stacks. On the other hand, apparently Louie Simmons is continuously on some low dose drug. Out of interest, what are the options for a 50-odd year old male who wants to build some muscle without killing...

Re: Dan John game-changer strength standards

Be careful with the flexibility stuff...if you get too flexible you will lose the stretch-reflex shit entirely. This is one reason most people only need a specific amount of flexibility in their hamstrings, more is counterproductive to pulling or sprinting. Excellent point. To be honest, I think a ...

I am an avid yoga-ier. I do a routine often twice daily (at a minimum of once daily), but that routine has remained static the past few years. Can you, please, share the routine? It was designed by a private instructor who observed my infirmities (hip and shoulder at the time) and had me do movemen...

Re: Dan John game-changer strength standards

ironically, I've read the initial post on this thread and realized that I can do all of it save the bodyweight bench x 15. Honestly, given some recent shoulder injuries I'm slowly rebuilding my shoulder strength. That said, my performances in my sport has suffered not because of my commitment to bei...

Re: What are you built for?

My body was made for woodchopping and pickings things up. Bout it really. Not fast or tall enough for football; an inability to press anything significant kept me from being good at powerlifting. Likely could have been really good at Olympic lifting had I started earlier. Still have some fight in me...

thoughts and prayers Bob. As always, you are in inspiration. Totally on your terms. I love that. The more I think about it, the more I think all of this is intra-related. The pain, spasms, and your underlying condition could very well be caused by what may be going on in your bone marrow. Absolutely...

Re: Aged Bogatyrs and Bodyweight

I have a similar dilemma and similar questions. I'm 45 and my weight has fluctuated between 290 and 275 the past ten years. I'm 5'10" and I lift a good deal of heavy things to this day. My body fat has never been over 20 percent and I've gotten very lean for a thicker guy at certain points over the ...

Re: Let's talk high frequency....

I have found that high volume training is very beneficial once you have mileage on you (>35 years of age) as long as you buy into the need for restoratives - ice, heat, yoga, smr, massage, ems, etc. - and, as Jack wrote, don't force it. Every Fall once my season ends I pretend to be an Olympic weigh...

Agreed on the low E symptoms. I felt like tired and not as "grr" when using the anti-e's. But I got an itchy nipple so I put it in the works.

Re: hCG experiences?

What kind and dose did you run when you ran the anti-e alone? Thanks. Nolva at, I think, 25 mg per day. Limited it to 4 weeks as I recall. As mentioned above,my joints got achy. The armidex was not precise as I was using the liquid research kind but I only took a half dropper every other day. Again...

Yes. Resulted in high normal test ranges. But the feeling was not as good as on 100mg and anti-e combo.

Re: hCG experiences?

Do the Nolva and/or arimidex dosages/frequency vary significantly with the test dosage? I have not found that. A little bit of Nolva or armidex goes a long way. I once used, as best I can recall, 25mg of Nolva per day a few weeks before one of my blood draws while on 100mg of test per week and my t...

Re: hCG experiences?

I have never tried HCG. Just between 75 and 125 mg of test cyp/enth a week for the past 9 years. I have gone up in dosage but never more than doubling it. I have added Nolva and armidex, but get better results strength and numbers wise with Nolva. Not sexy. Not overly lean. But I have maintained and...

Ah, my town. It's been crazy here the past five days. An end in sight is forthcoming though. I honestly had no clue about the bridge issue. Sorta been head down trying to sort out how to keep working and training while all is shut down and a shower is in short order. Thank god for an elaborate home ...
