Re: Mountain Bike Thread

I guess some shops had some demos but they're just not making that many. Maybe end of January/February. Too bad because I would have bought one. I'm getting pretty intrigued with the Gates Belt Drive. But, that starts moving out of what I wanted to spend. Take a look at the Spot Rocker SS 29'er. I ...

Re: Multi monitor advices

I have 3 24" monitors at work and could not ever go back, would actually rather have a fourth. I have no fuckin clue how anyone works on a laptop or even a single normal sized monitor.

I think the best would be like a 50 inch curved screen TV up to monitor specs.

Re: What'd ya get?

Things I'm psyched about are Crank Brothers double shot bike pedals, nice dining table cover that sets up table for poker game. 17 month old saw his wrapped presents and said "Wooooooooow" which was pretty awesome. Question (for everyone)... I disagreed w/ my wife over this. Does Santa wrap his gif...

really, why? I have ridden one and I'm pretty sure the shop wouldn't be demoing something they couldn't sell.

I found your replacement bike, Fuzzy. As I've stated before, I don't ride hardtails anymore, but if I did, this would be near the the top of my list. http://m.pinkbike.com/news/ragley-big-wig-review-2017.html I hadn't even considered Ragley... that's not single-speedable though which puts it in the...

stolen outta the apartment building garage, left it down there because the closet where I usually store it was full of Christmas gifts. It's a small building, 15 units, and other people leave stuff down there (surfboards, etc.). I got some nicer clothes - a shirt from Filson i've been asking for for...

Re: Mountain Bike Thread

That is what I'm hearing too, original date was mid November... I'm not confident in Feb yet.

I may buy the SS, swap over some parts from my Mariachi and put my B+ wheels on. I still need to get a test ride because the standover is kind of high.

Just drink normal beer you gunts. Like what I am drinking. th (9).jpg Bell's is awesome; The first time I heard about them was on here, Shaf maybe? Much like Great Divide, don't think I've ever had a bad Bell's beer. Not many craft brewers do so many beers so well. Lager of the Lakes Oarsman Oberon...

I have been holding this one for a little while - it was one of the better Almanacs I've had. https://www.craftcity.com/image/cache/catalog/products/Beers/almanac/almanac-tangerine-de-brettaville-375ml-1881-400x400.jpg Tangerine, a little brett-y, very mild hops. Update from Fox re my broken fork... at first, via email, they tried to quote me $175 for a service and $220 for new lowers. I called them up to discuss. It looks like an eccentric BB. Not my favorite way of doing it, but works well enough if you're good about taking it apart once a year or so and clean/lubing it so it doesn't bind up. Definitely not an EBB, 73mm threaded. Note the horizontal rear dropout for SS chain tension adjustments. They have ...
