Yes, it was definitely a post-movie conversation starter. I was disappointed in American Gangster. Expectations were too high. I saw Gone Baby Gone several weeks ago and it is one of the best I've seen this year. Casey Affleck is going to get nominated for his role in that or his role in the Assassi...

Also, Casey Affleck is totally convincing in his role. So is Ed Harris and Amy Ryan, who plays the missing girl's crackhead Mom.
We saw it yesterday. It was very good.

I enjoyed the movie. The fight scene in the steam baths was quite memorable.

GS is hard. GS training is even harder. If anyone thinks that I look forward to my 8 minute + set of snatches that I've been doing 3-4 times a week, they are sorely mistaken. Then top it off with 24kg or 32kg swings...Fun times. It ain't for everybody. But, the "efficient" thing gets blown...

This thread is starting to bring back the memories of my first GS competition in Chicago(can't believe it has been 2+ years). I drove up there at 5:30 am (4.5 hour drive), competed, ate pizza, drank beer , and drove home...Good times.
