I take 6 to 9 fish oil caps /day which ends up being about 1/3 of the amount of EPA & DHA in 4 Flameouts so $$$ speaking the flameout is cheaper. But still $25 for a bottle of fish pills.....

Hey STROY
Have you noticed anything from the Flameout yet? Is it really worth $25 for 22 days supply?

His book is an excellent intro to Sports Medicine Chinese Med style. Lots of recipes for various concoctions, you just have to find the herbs (lots of references in the Appendix) With the exception of the chapter on why you SHOULDN'T lift weights its a great book. Covers some basic QiGong and other ...

It kicks the collective ass of all peanut butters.
I prefer almond butter too but it is expensive as hell. Damn near twice as much for 1/2 the amount

It was a very informative afternoon. I learned a lot and I'm all that interested in GS. But I did find out why I struggle so much with jerks. so maybe I'll give it another go. Glad you & Ben made it up. It was good to see you both again. I will cast about to see if there is enough interest in Lo...

Don't get too bent out of shape Ross. Keep posting your results with things. Some of us like to hear about others experiences. Anecdotal evidence and subjective results are good to share.

Morning Uncle.... Ya know, the supp industry is 99.9 % crap, but hey a "fool & his/her money" and all that shit... I feel that a few of those products help and while WFR is probably always better many times, for me anyway, the convenience outweighs the benefits. It may be placebo effec...

However, I'm old, crippled, recovering from long illness, have multiple long-term injuries, train as hard as I possibly can as often as I can, take no supplements, and never have DOMS. Used to get it all the time. Crippled maybe, old, I think we are the same age or close to it. Turned 46 a few mont...

Can't let it slide... Please describe in simple terms how any of these supplements are better than real food. All of the above components and claimed benefits can be had in milk, sardines, roast beef, etc. Protein fractions, amino ratios, and all the other gobbledygook is 100% hype - you are made t...

I agree with Ross on most of these products. Although I havent used the grow bars, the Grow powder is good. The power drive is great stuff & I mix it with the ICE BCAA and sip it during workouts. With the Spike I just dont seem to notice much of a difference. I take it after lunch to keep me goi...

BUY IT!!!

Buy this DVD!! Steve does a great job of integrating kbs with Bagua. He shows kb drills and follows them by showing how the move relates to Bagua movements then tosses Mike Castrogiovanni around the gym to demo the applications. Many drills are done from the position on strength (the rack) & of ...

Softwork(TM)(R)(C)(@)pat. pend....

I wrote this to Scott: Initial impressions: for a workshop production very good quality, sound was a bit off in a few places. content is very good with a lot of discussion on the finer points. You go into more detail on things than Vlad does. His wasnt in a workshop format. One thing he covered that...

THis was was good if you havent seen Warior Wellness, many of Steve's drills are similar to WW. Not saying that Steve's ripping off Sonnon there's only so many ways of doing joint mobility. Steve has quite a few on there I've not seen elsewhere. I think its a better buy than Resilient. I believe Ste...

Systema Hand 2 Hand

Here's a brief . Full review should be done this weekend. 1) its a beginners dvd. Its designed to replace the old TRS tapes 2) talks about the 3 distances and some basics on what to do at each one 3) everything is done in the usual Systema manner - slow. There are some clips of people attacking fast...
