Re: The couch thread

The T-nation article was this long ass thing, that TC wrote. 6 lousy lines about x-fit in the whole thing. Gary - Which article was it that TC wrote? Speaking of money... The newly reorganized certifications, which aren't recognized by a soul outside of CF BTW, include the following: Level 1 - 1000...

Re: ROME: Season II

Rome was great but Carnivale which proceeded it was 10 times better. I've watched all but the last 2 episodes in the last week. Cant stop watching them. I understand they canceled it to put on Rome. Superb acting great plots & very creative sub-plots good vs evil all around, weird psychic shit a...

Shaggy's Activate! - Most Excellent!!

This is a good fast paced introduction to the Reciprocal Inhibition method of stretching. As Tom points out this doesn't replace other forms of stretching it can be used effectively with other methods including static stretching and PNF. The DVD starts right in with Tom defining RI and how it works....

I had a couple of Xfitters drop by recently. They thought they were in good shape. The 1st guy came in on a Sunday with a big group of my people and I put them through AOS:Newport. He was toast. My woman had a great time with him. He was all heart & gutted it out. His form was decent, and I twea...

Re: Xtreme Rings by Gymnasticbodies.com

Getting laid off was what I needed to get going. I've talked to a bunches of entrepreneur types who said exactly the same thing. Nice to see it's going well Dave. The Universe gives us a nudge when we need it. Sometimes it can look pretty harsh, like getting laid off or having Tom Cruise drop a dea...

Re: Xtreme Rings by Gymnasticbodies.com

Looks like you are doing well Dave. Maybe getting laid off was good for you. I'm having a blast. Getting laid off was what I needed to get going. Before I was always worried about making ends meet. Its hard to give up a cushy 70k job. But I'd rather do this than go back to a cube farm, even though ...

Re: Xtreme Rings by Gymnasticbodies.com

Thanks the workout area is about 28x38. I wish it had higher ceilings but it works well. I had 11 people crammed in there on a Sunday a few weeks ago. Average class size is 5-7, but it is growing. 5 press each arm using a 5 or 6RM weight 10 snatches each arm with a heavier bell 15 swings each arm wi...

Tyler had his rings on sale for $50 as well and they just came in. They are the Elite, black. I have a pair of his original rings as well. They've held up pretty well. On one the stitching that held the webbing together came apart & Tyler send me a replacement strap free.
