Grip & Longevity Article by Jamie Lewis

It's flatly dumb to correlate grip strength in this way. Healthier, more vital people have a stronger grip. Training grip won't make you healthy and vital. I couldn't finish the linked post. His writing is just too all over the place for anything longer than a couple paragraphs to be coherent. Exac...

Matrix Resurrections

Until just now I had no idea they were trans. I liked the first Matrix a lot, second I thought was solid, the third... well.

I liked Speed Racer (and realize I'm probably the only one who did) - until I looked them up 3 minutes ago, I didn't realize they had made it.

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU TURN OFF A PUSHBUTTON CAR? I CAN'T DO IT. IT GOES TO SOME MIDWAY OFF POSITION FUCK YOU

I don't know - sometimes I have the same problem. It cuts the engine but not the electrical. Generally though if I've depressed the brake and then press the button, the car should turn off completely (I think).

Is it an automatic? Shift into park, foot on brake, press button.

Btw, I hate the push button and FOB thingy too. I really wish I had keys again.

I think that's true of almost everything to come out of Hollywood in the last 40 years or so.
Did it work?
No, but it wasn't bad.

They are going to go back to how it was. There is no other option. There never has been any other option. Even if it had been an extinction lvl event bioweapon, they still would have sent everyone back to work. And they were always gonna do it no matter how deadly the Chinese Lung Rot was. This. It...

Re: N-95 Masks from Dragon Door

I can't believe I'm gonna do this, but Ducane isn't necessarily teh villain he's made out to be in the press. He was selling them for $5 each plus shipping. Home Depot is currently selling a box of twelve for $65.64 plus shipping (and they're not in stock). Normally a mask would retail for about $2...

Pieces of shit. I posted to their page that they should stop, apologize, and then donate them. The ad was pulled shortly after and then they were offering masks as an 'add-on' to that stupid chain thing. Seriously, what the hell, has JDC gone insane?

I'm a fan even though it takes a lot for me to give a thumbs up on a tv-series.

Wynona Rider + 'IT' meets Steven Spielberg + Dungeons and Dragons and assorted 80s nostalgia = a win for me.

I was in the sauna the other day and had to listen to a middle aged man tell a younger kid all about how awesome 'jits' is, Joe Rogan, and how sauna-ing for 20+ minutes make "your hormones go off like crazy".

I have a bunch of notes and lists in Keep. I've got a "Gym" note pinned to the top, for complex workouts I want to do (excersises/sets/reps). My wife wrote up a points system for ways our son could earn his way to us buying a PS4 game he wanted: she shared it with me in Keep and pinned it...

Re: Bullet Journaling

I've been recommending Google Keep for a few months now. It's made a huge difference and it's a free, easy to use, app.

I still keep a physical notebook and use Google Calendar, but organization and limitations inherent in those platforms made adding Keep a no-brainer for me.

Some nice scenes of NM, but not great. Kind of a touchy-feely film.

It's tough for me to see Clint Eastwood age - he reminds me of my dad.

Now, with the new start, a guy could keep the goggles in place. But what's the advantage, other than seeing your turn better. Being able to see is big, not just for turns, but for body position and breathing. (though I don't know if there's any research on these things - I'm basing this on my own e...
