I poke around there sometimes. Usually when someone asks about learning oly lifts, and I pitch Lost Battalion to them in an attempt to recruit lifters, or when people talk about learning the lifts from books, I tell them to get a coach and share some links on how to do that. When I watch this vid I can see why the xfitters who try real o-lifting have such problems.
It's also funny how they all seem to have the same quirks in their lifts, at least the one's I've seen.

Crap, I think just getting a better time slot in the 08 broadcasts would do a lot for the popularity.

Seeing the competition in 04 is what made me want to do try it out. I ended up having to wait until 2006, but I was hooked from just watching once.
