A good start might be legislation that requires companies to put in what they say is in there and the amount of it stated on the label - and nothing else. Quality control is sadly lacking throughout the industry - why not start there?

Seeing as how I cam e late to the party - what is the issue here? If she "owns" it - she can sell it to whoever she wants - that's sort of what ownership implies. Unless there is some kind of agreement behind all this stuff - it seems a little off the wall.

There aren't very many good things about being poor - but one nice thing is it doesn't really matter who is in office - we're screwed either way. One less thing to worry about I guess.

Who are you going with - what trekking company? Be sure whoever it is schedules in enough rest/acclimation days. Some of the Nepalese companies are famous for thinking the rest of us flat landers can do what they can do as to time frames - which usually isn't true.

I haven't done Everest base Camp but I have climbed Lobuje East (on the way to EBC) and Imse Tse (Island Peak). Some of the junk Glute Hams can be "rehabbed" with a new footplate and a MUCH better pad assembly. It takes a little work but not a ton of money to do it.

The reverse grip makes cleans a little tough as well.
