Getting Things Done (you don't have to implement this to the letter to get cool results), Evernote, and a Moleskine. To echo Cleaner though, I actually use Seven Habits thinking in planning my weeks.

Marine DI's doing OCS still? Newport used to be strictly OIS (aka knife and fork) with just chiefs and RLO's doing the indoc, with the AOCS and OCS combined in Pensacola oh so long ago (you can see I cared enough to keep up) run by Marine DIs and Chiefs. The use of @fit at OCS is stupid beyond beli...

Re: The couch thread

FWIW, the son of a buddy of mine is at Navy OCS. He is currently in medical hold due to rhabdo. Three guesses for the training protocol. A sensible approach to health and fitness? Well, that depends on how you'd answer the question, "What is fitness?" Too bad there's not a finely honed de...

Read the book and dug it greatly. And I take him at his word that he wrote it to honor and recognoze his two buddies who were killed. And all proceeds of the book are going to charities and those two families.

Re: Greatest Drummers Ever

For pure musicianship, Kenny Aaronoff is my fave. He's played with seemingly everyone and fits in seemlessly every time. David Robinson from The Cars is high on my list, too. Neil and Buddy rule, but I still dig good, fun, pop-rock drumming.

I suppose this is what they call "protecting the brand". Despite everything, CF just keeps getting bigger and richer. They don't care if these people churn, HQ has already gotten all the money they will get from those particular people. Took DD a while to learn this, but it is indeed an e...

News flash: There is officially no inherent difference between male and female in @F-land: CJ (#24), There is no Rx for women because there is no inherent reason to use less weight. I addressed this on the Games site a few days ago: http://games2010.crossfit.com/blog/2010/08/female-elite,775/ Commen...

Ah. Learn something new every day. Guess I need to come down off the hill a lil more often....

Might be interesting to note that about 1% of all deaths worldwide are due to cirrhosis of the liver. Just pointing out another possible connection to XF.

$60 for a 5k?! And you have to buy a t-shirt if you want one?! I guess I'll sit this one out.

And I'm no runner, but having a 5k in an 'endurance challenge' is an embarassing.

That could be one of the worst first posts I've ever seen. Resurrecting a year and a half old product review thread with spelling and grammatical errors. Jeez.

Anywho, you ever wear your Innov-8's on a camping trip?
