While I appreciate the sentiment, it's not up to you. The couch thread depends upon extrinsic rather than intrinsic factors. This thread is a trainwreck victim hanging on to life by a thread. Couch and his cadre of HQ Yes Men, or more specifically the things they say, do, or decide are the paddles of the Defibrillator machine that will shock the life back into this thread.

That's not to say that the long periods of mediocre posting in between don't pose a risk of permanent brain damage. In fact, that kind of wraps the analogy up rather neatly.

While I respect your genius when it comes to posting pics of CF attention whores I must wholeheartedly disagree with the contention that this thread is dependent on queues from CFers and Couch. Sure without them this thread would have never came into play but in the early days we created the stories. We did the leg work, massaged the material and brought it to life. CF never posted anything official about Couch’s little drinking problem. I breathed life into that. Dirt Diva and Hop Sing alone had no comedic value. They are just pathetic losers. I had to punch that shit up. I could go on and on but you get the point. This new crop of disgruntled ex CF types simply cut and past tomes from obscure CF blogs and think this is amusing. They want someone else to do the work for them. Sure every once and awhile CF throws us a meatball but it’s what you do in between those time that counts. In the old days it wasn’t unusual for the couch thread to drop back a few pages. It always came back when the time was right. If it wasn’t happening we just let it go for awhile. We had a more authentic and organic approach to the whole thing. These fucking losers nowadays are desperate and trying too hard. So despite what you may think it is up to me to see this ship safely to shore. When we clean house and get things back on track I will step aside as I always do. Mario and I are working out the details of me taking over this thread as a Mod just to shape things up.

He was suggesting, hell stating, that the NSW personnel considering CrossFit ought to come train with him and stay away from dangerous CrossFit. If ANYONE knows of an entire group hurt CrossFitting and can only talk about it privately they are being unethical. We all have an obligation to share first with the purveyor and then with the public any injuries endemic to any regimen. I couldn’t share all the details because G-Mac asked me not to let the dude know that he’d sent me the email. Shortly thereafter G-Mac released me from my promise. I challenged the guy to publicly deny my accusations of his unethical behavior. He never did.

So Carl and I broke up a couple days ago. A break up doesn't have to be viewed upon as a bad thing. It's just means we had different paths that we wanted to take. I don't believe in wasting someones time. Most people stay stuck in situations for a long time. I have so much stuff I wanna do in the wilderness..Like fastpacking and running long trails. Non of which Carl can do because he believes in a different way of training ,not going longer then 13 miles. My life is running. it is what keeps my soul alive. And every year I must take my few weeks to live in the wilderness.
