Dropbox

Post by Ryan » Tue Jul 02, 2013 7:09 pm

There has been new stuff added to the dropbox (even more since yesterday). Instead of trying to PM everyone individually, just go check it out.

PM me if you want access and instructions.

Defying Gravity might be one of the best books on contest prep I've seen.

Whenever I drag a book out of Dropbox it's moving the file, not just copying it. I noticed that the other day, so keep an eye on it

With Windows I've found that it's a much better idea to copy/paste from Dropbox rather than drag and drop.

So basically:

1. Open the file.
2. Click on the download icon

OR

1. Move the cursor over the file.
2. Right click
3. Click download icon

It has come to my attention that people are unable to load new files because they are getting a message that the folder is at 100% capacity.

I'm going to have to delete some older files to bring the capacity back down. It needs to be at ~ 2 GB for everyone to have access to it. Lower for new files to be added. Its at 2.3 GB right now.

I won't delete anything from the new shit folder, but some older files in the original file need to go. I will delete them based on age and size of file. If you haven't uploaded them yet, I will wait a little bit to delete them.

Yeah, I receive a message that says I need more space, even after clearing out my entire Dropbox folder.

Why don't we take out all the old timey shit, to start....like "Way to Live" which is easily found elsewhere.

Any maybe some of the yoga stuff...there is a fuckton of that.

Or, easily found ebooks.

Alternately, if you don't have an account, sign up with this link and the size of the box will increase

edit...PM me for a link to join dropbox and increase the size of the shared dropbox

OK...those who have access, list the files you think should go. Ryan is doing a fine job managing it for now, let him be the final arbiter.

The Poliquin Principles is essentially useless.
Kill or Get Killed is easily found
The Way to Live
Hoffman's Barbell Training
Inch on Strength
4 Hour Workweek
Vault by Tate
Ultimate Diet Secrets by Ellis
The Claire Danes Trigger point is massive...just massive, think about doing something with that.

Another thing we could consider...using a linksharing system, and putting a list of the links in the dropbox...like rapidshare or rapidgator, just rename the files so they can't be found with a title or author search.

I just deleted a bunch of crap. Down to 1.5 GB. Upload anything interesting, but like Shaf said, if it's easy to find online, leave it out.

Also added 1 file.

Cool, that works for me.

Does anybody add documents or run things through Ryan first?

Add anything you think others would like.

Just check its not already in there, possibly under another name, or that its not easily available online.

3 new files.

Some of you mother fuckers could add some files ya know.

Also, I've been toying with the idea of rearranging the files in folders according to genre. What do you think? Yes or leave as is?

Also, do not post any requests in this thread.

I rearranged the dropbox, but we are now back over 2 GB. We need to stay below 2 GB, so some other shit needs to go.

I'm thinking the Chuck Sipes folder (sorry Fatty), but more will probably have to be deleted than just that.
