My internets are down. But I will join the challenge when they are back up and log some meters.

i appear to be the only name on the team currently.

the team is not listed in the standings.

i think you have to log in. go to "challenges." on the right-hand side, there is a box for the virtual challenge. i can't recall what i did to activate my membership for this challenge. i clicked a few links and finally found something. helpful, eh?

you can do it.

I'll do it today. Screwed up my back doing sprints last week, but will see the chiro tomorrow and will hopefully start again with daily 5K's by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I've got a few meters logged. Just need to put them up on C2's site. Gonna be a slack month though.

I've always liked the word svelte. It makes me feel like even if I'm fat, I could still wear velvet and be hot.

I am going to try rowing before I fly out tomorrow. Otherwise, I won't be rowing again until Saturday.

We'll definitely be in the Fall Challenge. I'll get the team signed up, then all you'll have to do is go to your log and say you want to be part of it.

Any new rowers that want to join the team, just go to your log and request to join The Bad Place team and shoot me a PM confirming you're a member here.

Jeez that's a lot of rowing. I'm good to get 40k a week right now.

Challenge is as many meters as you can get Sept 15 - Oct 15. Goal is either 100 or 200k depending on level of badassness. Go to your C2 log and join our team. Then confirm you want to take part in the challenge. We're a virtual team so I don't think we're eligible for any prizes. But it's good motivation to get meters.

Just a reminder that even if you're listed as on the team, you still have to sign in to participate in the fall challenge.

We had 5 of us in the challenge and finished 98th out of 393 teams with1,040,763 meters. If you narrow it down to jus the virtual teams with 1-5 people, we were second.

Major props to Bob Wildes who carried the team on his undoubtably wide back with over 600,000 of those meters.
