Military Press 230x1. This was an absolute grinder. This puts me within the 10lbs of the 130% of BW Military press that used to be talked about some.

Nice run. What do you weigh?

I managed 13.16 for the 100 meter dash this summer. Still looking to break 13" @ age 45.

Thanks. When I did that I weighed 69kg (151 lbs). BTW, I'm 45 too.

Decent PB improvement but so fucking annoying not to be under 7:00!

Retest in 3 weeks.

Ok, so I weigh less than your double chin, nobody's perfect.

KB Push Press:
10 mins @ 32kg; 60 reps one hand switch

Nothing crazy but I'm happy with it seeing that my schedule is so royally fucked right now.

I've only gotten under 7 once, and it was by the skin of my teeth. I pulled it last year the night before Thanksgiving. I had raced a 5k the Saturday before, took a few days rebound and then hit the 2k test piece. That 6:5x felt like a fucking hour.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

It's not my PR even but I'd like to brag on my wife - she did a 160# squat today - at age 65.

Cheers.

First real 5k test last week was 18:47

Never tested an hour. Never really wanted to! Regularly do 14k and a bit as steady state work.

This was the result of six weeks of the Pete Plan. Might push on another cycle or two with a few mods (ditch a couple of the less useful sessions).

Suppose the next goal is 6:50

Glad to have finally gotten over this hurdle though. It's a big mental barrier.

If she is still squatting at 65 you found a keeper.

She works out with weights even though she doesn't really like it. She rides those 100 mile bike tours and still can climb 5.9 or so on the rocks. Has a few other talents also :). 43 years now and counting
