Plus I'm still ripped, vascular, and sexy so I shouldn't complain too much. ;)
I became sexy when i grow beard. Without any training!

Interesting thing with dips.
In the book "Building the gymnastic bodies" there such progression for dips (on parralel bars):
1 Dips
2 Russian dips
3 Rusian dips with L-sit

4 Bulgarian dips
5 Single bar dips
6 Under grip single bar dips
7 Korean dips
8 Korean dips under grip

But in Foundation two already such:
1 Dips
2 Single bar dips
3 Under grip single bar dips
4 Korean dips
5 Korean dips under grip
6 Russian dips
7 Rusian dips with L-sit

Bill,

He's said before that he has had to adjust and rethink quite a bit working with adults compared to working with kids who start around 7-8 years old and are competing at a high level through grade 12 or into college and later.

I think a lot of it has been mobility deficits that are present, even in active adults, compared to kids who haven't had any organized sports but also haven't had a decade or more of what he calls "desk patrol."

There have been 2 or 3 updates to the progressions in the time I've been following the program.

Yeah, this kind of messed me up. I was done with the first progression then when I went to start the new one I saw that he had changed a couple of the exercises to be done later in the progression.

Be nice to know his training history going back about 50 years. Regaining old strength and skills in much different than learning them all new.

GB has just made a major change to it's programming. It's a lot more individual now, as apposed to the more cookie cutter approach of before. Something I think will help adults who are lacking in certain areas.

Ferriss has given them a massive customer boost. I seem to recall that it tripled or quadrupled their sales.

The new rating system is a little too subjective for my liking, but I'm guessing adults are going to do better in the current system. I liked the idea of hitting the required reps, whether it sucked or not, and starting on the next step.

I'd assume that most are going to do better in the later stages of Foundation 1 and into Foundation 2 with the current system.

Care to elaborate?

After I run Furman's AoW for another few cycles I am planning on going back to GB. I just looked at the site and it looks more organized now. The reason I stopped before is that they rearranged all of the progressions right in the middle of my plan which threw me all off. I will start from the beginning again but that doesn't bother me.

I imagined Wild Bill as really fat with a crazy beard wearing a cowboy hat and a vest.

And Sangoma looking like Bill actually looks.

Baff, do you have an opinion on the flexibility programs of GB or GMB?
