Calorie/Macro Baselines for different people

Post by Grandpa's Spells » Fri Dec 08, 2017 6:35 pm

My brother's a chef and has been doing some private stuff lately, and has gotten inquiries about doing meal services for rich people. Because he has a educational background in nutrition (15+ years ago) and was a very good athlete, he's thinking about doing macro/calorie-dialed in stuff to help people with goals, perhaps pairing people with trainers as well.

The trick is, getting baseline when people are usually going to be 40+ and all over the map on weight/fitness, is hard without data. Are there resources for approximating where to start somebody in terms of calories?

Yeah, reasonable approximations. That bodybuilding.com one I wasn't aware of and it factors age into it, which is great. Thx

How to Calculate Your Ideal Macronutrients Intake

Some people convert calories into actual nutrients and come up with per kilo/pound value.
