1-Arm Planks

Don't know if anyone does these (obviously not the first time someone has dreamed this up), but it looks like a decent variation for abs:

I will be starting these in a couple of weeks. They are one of the progressions in the GymnasticBodies Foundation 1 program.

These are a step in their Straddle Planche progression. They lump them into their upper body work as they like to focus the effort on the scapulas and related straight arm strength work.

Gave them a try today for the first time. The first few seconds seemed like nothing, but it quickly got difficult. Nice change of pace.

GB has one work up to 5 sets of 30 seconds per arm. After that, you move on to planche leans.
