Get through foot surgery and be a good patient so it heals correctly.

My goals are: (a) to unfuck my body after 36 hours of plane travel and (B) get back to BJJ on Saturday. Goal a is preceding apace. So far lots of sun salutations, light calisthenics, and a few kettlebell swings.

I never even thought of a sleep target like that. Interesting.

Foot surgery done. Jones fracture repaired with a screw. Couch bound for the next few days and then no weight bearing for the next 4-6 weeks.

Goal is to to heal and follow medical advice. Even though my Warden(wife) will make that more simple than it would be without her ever present eagle eye on my behavior.

Congratulations Dingleberry. Your wife sounds like a catch, good to have someone keeping an eye on you.

Fatty,

I thought it would keep me more honest if I get to average it out over a week. I would have hit my goal if it wasn't for two nights where I really fucked up.

Over use. Started as a stress fracture that I ignored. Went to see GBH and stepped on someone's foot and broke it better. Doc said it was only a matter of time if it was already fractured.

Worst part is it is my right foot so no driving. Trapped with my oldest son who has his learner's permit and an ex who resents him spending extra time with me.

Going to try and teach myself guitar while I convalesce.

Put the Warden and the Ex in a cage match for broke foot supremacy.

Report back? Are we going to merge IGx with Dragondoor? Comrade?

Weekly sleep goal doesn't make sense. To me anyway. Seriously, if you sleep 6 hours for two nights in a row, are you going to try sleep 12 hours the next? Sleep debt doesn't work like the bank account. If you sleep only 3 hours on Monday night you are at risk on Tuesday, and sleeping like a hog on Wednesday doesn't change that.

A cage match sounded interesting until I realized that it would be like watching the infamous Ken Shamrock-Royce Gracie fight where they circled one another the entire time without engaging.

Sangria, as my dad would say, "could fuck up a wet dream." I'm telling you, this guy was Debbie Downer before there was a Debbie Downer. My guess is, he was left alone a lot as a child and subsequently he began putting on his mother's clothes. I think we all know where it went from there.

This week goal was 60 pushups, and i did 63.
I bet that if i could do 60, then Russia will beat Croatia. So, if i did 3 more tan planned, Russia will make 3 goals.

Goal for the week: avenge wildbill and smash Croatia in the semis. If England win I will renounce beer for a year. If they win the final I’ll make it four years. Best World Cup since Mexico 86. Russia has excelled.
