Chinese Martial Arts: Translations of Original Documents

Post by Fat Cat » Thu Jul 26, 2018 8:20 pm

Stumbled on to a pretty cool site devoted to high quality translations of traditional manuals of Chinese Martial Arts:

https://brennantranslation.wordpress.com/

All of the text, along with any illustrations and/or photography, is provided along with editorial comments of the translator.

Some texts that are available include:

Eighteen Elders Boxing Set by Huang Hanxun
Methods of Applying Taiji Boxing by Dong Huling
Drunken Luohan Boxing by Huang Hanxun
Taiji Compiled: The Boxing, Saber, Sword, Pole, and Sparring by Chen Yanlin
Baji Boxing by Miao Ganjie

Even if you have no interest in actually doing anything CMA related, it's pretty fun.
