I have given myself a minor biceps tear on my right arm. I felt a little hitch when I was working out and a day later a thumb size bruise appeared that stings a bit when I touch it. Everything I’m reading says take it easy for 3 to 6 weeks, so no curling obviously, but what about deadlifts or pressing? Anyone know what’s up with healing a small thing like this quickly?

Unexpectedly, biceps is involved in more movements than one would think. It was a revelation for me that it activates in bench, but then I thought back to the 1st year of medical school and though, of course it does.
