Konstantin Konstantinovs dead

Post by baffled » Mon Oct 29, 2018 3:27 am

Saw Stan Efferding post about his passing. No cause specified from what I can tell. He was only 40.

Damn, I remember seeing something not too long ago that made me think he didn't look very healthy. If you search on photos of him and consider that he passed away at age 40, it's pretty clear that the lifestyle of massive weights, huge eating, and drugs is not any way to live to a natural end.

I read it was from a street fight, but don't know how reliable that source is.

He did work as a bodyguard, I wonder if it was a professional entanglement?

I read from another source that he was stabbed while working as a bouncer.

You know, the biggest guy is not necessarily a good fighter. Size helps to avoid the fight, but... I knew a guy, about 155 cm tall (5'2" I think in American terms) who had this thing for tall big guys: he had to fuck them up at the littlest of excuses and he was good at it. His father was the coach of Sambo at the police (militia) school, so the dude was mean. When knocked down big guy hit the ground hard, and that's how most fistfight fatalities occur.

I'd forgotten about the bodyguard/bouncer job. That'd explain it.

All of this is true, but it's almost impossible to overstate the strength of a guy who can deadlift 900 lbs. That's gorilla strempf.

No doubt about that. However, I have seem a fair share of very strong people getting hurt very badly. Couple of years ago I was looking after a big Islander who was beaten up with a baseball bat. He was a typical Islander: tall, about 120 kg of mostly muscle, wide one etc. From what I gathered he go into an altercation with couple of guys and when things started getting physical they went straight to the most damaging weapon in their arsenal, bypassing shoving, pushing, half-assed punching and the res of the usual prelude to the fight. The dude perished in the next couple of days.

What I am saying is big guys often get more beating than the average joe, simply to make sure that he doesn't get back up. And more severe injuries as the result. Actually, I have seen more big guys beaten up in a hospital than small ones. The latter tend to rely on their running skills more often.

Year ago in Khabarovsk mma guy killed powerlifter champion. Powerlifter was drunk and do not wanted to fight as people said, but that mma-guy kick him ith spinning kick and then several times hit him in the head while powerlifter laid with head on the concrete.
It was murder crime case.

I am stronger than 99% of people in the world.

I do not let this become an arguement in favor of engaging a stranger on the street unless it is life and death. And then it will be.
