The main GMB tool for muscleap its "baby muscleup", it is when your legs on the floor.
So, they suggest to traing pulling strength separately, and for training transitioning they suppose to use baby muscleups.
This just not working. The difference in transition when your legs on the floor and when they are in the air just tremendous.
I tried with legs on the floor, and on the stool... not working. Just dissappointment.
It is not clear for whom their methods are designed for.
One of the first step in their ring muscleup progression is bent arm hang 5 sets of 60sec!!!
I never was able do even one such set.
False Grip Bent Arm Hang: rMU/PE1
To move to the next progression, you must be able to perform
5 sets of 60s.
1) A false grip should have a 90 degree bend in the wrist.
2) The hands should pull together in the center of the chest.
Don't know, maybe it will work after years of practice...
then 5*30sec false grip hang, then false grip pullups...
And after this step GB is practically the same as GMB. Baby muscleup, then negative, and then normal muscleup.
Not worked for me.
Maybe if you are already have good pulling strength because you are bjj or barbell monster, then those methods could work.
What really works for average grownup male is using rubber bands.
Just doing standard muscleup with bands, gradually changing them to a more thin.
I just could not stay silent!
