Holy fuck I am amazed these people manage to get through each day without an article from their supreme leader on how to dress themselves or operate a spoon without a certification.
Most people just want validation from their peers. CrossFit, Staring Strength and Strong First clearly feed off on them.

Wait, doing getups doesn't improve your press? I can't imagine wasting a solid year doing getups up to 32kg and not being able press the 24 more than twice.

Clearly the answer is to spend another year and build your getup up to 48kg to be able to press the 24 more than twice.
I answered the guys question. I can't be mean on there, they're lost and it's beneath me. If you can do 2 reps, do 10 sets of 2. Once you do that, try to get to 25 reps.

They all go into the articles library and try to find articles. Soju and Tuba? That made my eyes bleed.

If you want to improve your weakness, focus on your weakness. If your press stinks, press until it gets better. You'll get your newbie gains there instead of stalling out with a 40 kg kettlebell that is wobbling all the way on the get down.

The funniest part was the guy was complaining he didn't have a 20kg. I'm surprised some sycophant didn't reply, "Comrade, you're not supposed to use in between bells." LOL

I guess this guy proved there is no WTH correlation between getups and presses.

Hey, hey, let's not get carried away here. Press is in another program, ETK. Who do you think you are, chopping S&S and ETK? Do you know what can happen if you do that?

I really want to run Return of the Kettlebell even though I haven't hit my Simple goals or passed the Rite of Passage. Heck, I don't even know how to snatch. Do you think this is doable? Or maybe I should run the STRONG program on my off days. Help!

Q&D is the latest answer to your suffering. Just make sure you get a decent pair of dice. Consider buying the accelerometer as well. It's only $300, and WTF effect will blow the panties off you.

The Total Tension Complex, which is a 6 week doubles program came up today. I've run it. An excellent 6 week program for strength.
https://www.strongfirst.com/?s=total+tension

There was a thread about it, Look at this sheep.

I hate it when total tension threads pop up. They make me want to stay from s&s.

My reply

Avoid Presses, Rows and Squats. Is this a strong forum? Run it for 6 weeks, do a few getups on off days as a tonic. You really think you're going to lose anything? Especially doing a 5 minute snatch test. Don't be so rigid.

Wait, what? Total Tension complex is cleans, presses, squats and rows. What's left after you trim it? Cleans and swings?

Trim the cleans as well and you pretty much have strongfirst....
