Quick MTBike ride on the paved hill climb loop. At the top, cleaned the rocky & steep Jeep road up to the bend too. Yay!

Yesterday: SUP at the local lake for an hour.

Today, spent day at a water park with kids riding slides, floating the “lazy river” and in the wave pool. Then tonight, to the park for 10 laps, alternating 10 knuckle push-ups and 10 crawling push-ups. In the 90s today.

SUP with wife and son at lake for a few hours. Went swimming a bunch and tried surfing the boat wakes too. Good practice for the beach this summer.

This evening, quick MTBike up the nearby hill climb, 400’ or so. Then the small side loop on the way back, 100’? Three mile loop.

On the 4th of July, went for pretty massive MTBike ride with three friends. 20 miles and 2800’ vertical. Hot and humid, and I was again running out of steam on the last climb as I had chills. Lost 8 LBs of water weight in spite of emptying my hydration pack.

To the park! 10 x laps with mix of crab push-ups, burpees, and knuckle push-ups.

Ran to park, whereas I normally ride the bike, but have a sidewall tear after yesterday's ride. Need to fix that before Saturday's ride!

Quick farmers walk and some swings after working on the bike for a bit. Plan to ride tomorrow morning.

14 mile MTBike ride, 1800’ vertical, mostly fire road. Beautiful day, 70s, blue skies. 1+45

Practiced slack lining at home on my sons’s birthday present.

Two days ago: run to the park, 10 laps x 15 push-ups per, then home.

Also, 4 x 10 swings with 55 LB KB

Consistent and pretty simple (push-ups, running, sup and biking), nice work! What do you think of the slackline?

It's a blast. The first time trying, it's like you suddenly have Parkinson's - leg be going left-left-right. Have to go for the mental chill.

I'm up to 10 seconds or more on the right leg (dominant). Left is more jiggy. \:D/ We sit out front at night having a beer and practicing. Good social sport.

The park!

10 x 20 push-ups per lap. That’s a good limit, the last 5 of the last set were shaky.

Then 6 x 10 swings with the 55 lb kB.

Rode bike in to work, had to leave it at shop. Front ring is worn out so chain was jumping.

Got my bike fixed (front ring was worn out, chain was jumping) and rode home yesterday. Got hit with some gastric distress last night. Went for road ride today, and was dogging it a little. Then remembered that I probably didn’t have any food in the gut.

16 miles road and gravel, 1+30, 1300’ vertical. 85 degrees, windy.

20 mile MTBike ride on some new trails. Full adventure with getting lost and bushwhacking overgrown shrubbery. 3+30 and 1700’ vertical. It was 85 and humid. Lost a pile of water weight.

Both this ride and the last two MTBike rides had me nibbling with heat exhaustion. Super hot, sweat-soaked, racing heart rate, weak legs at the end of the ride. Kind of mapping out whether I will acclimate, and the impact of drinking water. Tried to hydrate continuously, drinking even when I didn't feel like it, but still lost the "hydration race" by a long way.

Are you using any electrolyte replacement? 20 trail miles might be a bit much for just water, if its hot and humid.

Yeah, I think I need to bring a bottle of something. I don’t want foul the hydration pack, so need to bring it separate. Haven’t been cramping, surprisingly. Used to do battle with muscle cramps back in the day.

Today: to the park, 10 laps x 20 push-ups. It’s about 60 meters per lap, 50’ elevation gain?

One good metric is I rode my bike today, and when I do, I ride to the top f the hill and start my laps from there. Plowed up the hill in a medium gear with ease.

Quick cross bike ride up the training hill, stayed in large front ring, no problems. Good grunt up the hill.
