tonight (Sunday):

OAS 1.5 pood 4 min hand switch at 2 min . 38L/33R. rpm = 19L/18L/17R/16R. Just missed rep 17 on the minute on R side.
Still have a bad cold, almost didn't lift tonight. Prob should have used the 1 pood but didn't want to lift more than 5 min. Just too tired.

Tonight (monday):

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 6 min hand switch at 3 min. Didn't count reps but was still going 10 rpm on the last min of each arm.
Still nursing the cold. I'm better but not well, so I'm not gonna push it. Just doing enough to maintain. (ish)

tonight (wednesday):

OAS 1.5 pood 10 min hand switch every 1 min . Didn't count reps, just wanted to do an easy 10 min with the 1.5 pood. I forget what a "cardio" challenge this is. Legs really feel it, too. No grip problems b/c of the multiple hand switches.

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 10 min hand switch every min. Didn't count reps, just wanted time under the bell at an easy pace. Practiced relaxing.

Monday night:

OAS 1.5 pood 8 min hand switch on the minute. Could have gone longer but had a very tiring day(s) and didn't want to over-do it.
Turns out I may have over-done it anyway. I somehow tweaked my back. I didn't time my drop and pull on one rep, and pulled a muscle.
Oh well. Compared to other weight training workouts, I have alot less soreness and far fewer injuries, so I'm not complaining.

Tonight (Wednesday):

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 20 min switching hands every minute. Did not count reps, but kept a good pace.
This is a pr for time with the 1.5 for me. Previous best was 14 min.
Amazing thing is, I tweaked my back day before yesterday. It even gave me fits today at work, although it was getting better. Almost skipped the workout. Didn't have a good supper either.
Decided to workout anyway. Was going to use the 1 pood for one of my 20 min "restorative" workouts. Instead, decided to use the 1.5 and see if I could relax with the "heavy" weight.
It was a total success. If I had not injured my back a couple days ago, I would have gone for 30 minutes. I am not kidding. I somehow stayed relaxed and let the kb do all the work. I never muscled it, never strained. Only 3 reps out of an estimated 200 plus (240?) troubled my back, and none of them really hurt. I am going to use the 1.5 for longer and longer workouts now.

Tonight (Friday):
OALCC&J 1.5 pood 12 min hand switched every minute. Very long hard day at work and after work. Didn't want to over-do it. Could have gone alot longer.

Saturday: off

Sunday (tonight):

OAS 1.5 pood 10 min hand switch every min.
X-mas season stinks. Busy every day all day. Every day there is a party, a concert, a rehersal, or a combination of 2 or 3. Plus work. Today was church, church concert, daughter's concert, daughter's school project, sick baby, etc...
So I almost didn't workout but decided to do ten minutes instead. Very slow, low rpm's.

Last night (Monday):

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 22 min switching hands every minute. Did not count reps, but kept a good pace. Not quite as fast as a couple days ago.
This is a pr for time with the 1.5 for me. Previous best was 20 min a couple days ago.
Almost didn't work out last night because my baby daughter was up half (I do mean half) the night Sunday, so I was exhausted before I started this workout. Decided to just give it and go and see what happened. Could have gone longer but didn't want to over-do it.
Pretty tired now, but not at all sore. Baby was up a little last night but I really needed the whole night to sleep.

Tonight (Saturday):

I am an idiot. Did not take the precaution of taping my torn palm callus. Thought it would be ok. Tore it worse. Then taped it. Didn't tape it securely. Tore it again.
So:
OAS 1.5 pood 4 min hand switch at 2 min. Was going to go 6 min hand switch at 3 but tore the callus at minute two so switched hands after 2 min.
Rested while I taped my hand.
Same thing:
OAS 1.5 pood 4 min hand switch at 2 min. Was going to go 6 min hand switch at 3 but tore the callus again near minute two, even though I taped it.
Let this be a lesson to all from my idiocy. The hands are vital (duh). Take care of them. I had the juice to set a record tonight (or come close). But I blew it because of bad prep.

Sunday:
OALCC&J 1.5 pood 8 min hand switche every 2 min. Wanted to do alot more but my callus tear interfeared.
Monday: off

Tonight (tues):

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 20 min hand switch every minute. Was scheduled for OAS but thought they'd hurt my callus tear. This was an easy workout; hands were fine.

Tonight (Saturday):

OALCC&J 6 min 1.5 pood hand switch every min. Worked out late (for me) at 10:20 pm. Baby was up from 2:30-4:30 am last night. Just did a short easy set to stay in the groove.

Did a short OAS workout Thursday (X-mas?). Aggravated my torn callus even though I was careful. Should have taken an extra day off to heal my hand.
Anyway, hand is better now, not quite 100%.

Will return to "real" workouts soon.

Tonight (Sunday)

OAS 1 pood 22 min hand switches every minute. Did not count reps.

Was feeling pretty tired from all the X-mas season extras on my calendar, but wanted to go at least 20 minutes. So I did this powder-puff easy-does-it workout. I would have gone longer but I was afraid I'd tear my healing callus so I stopped instead of risking injury.

Did alot of back and hamstring stretches when I finished. Both have been tight lately.

Tonight (Monday)

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 20 min hand switch every min.

I probably should have used the 1 pood tonight because I'm still pretty worn out from all the X-mas extras in my schedule. But I really wanted to do a "real" workout so I went with the 1.5. By the time I hit minute 19 I was considering going for a record 26 minutes, but then I saw I was starting to get a small tear in a callus on my left palm, so I quit at min 20. I had no idea that spot was tender. I guess I need to pay more attention.

Tonight (Wed 12/31):

OAJ 1 pood 6 min hand switch at 3 min
OAS 1 pood 6 min hand switch at 3 min
OALCC&J 1 pood 6 min hand switch at 3 min
OAJ 1 pood 6 min hand switch at 3 min
OAS 1 pood 4 min hand switch at 2 min

Total time = 28 min
No rest between sets, did not put down KB until workout was done.
I was basically trying to do level 20 of the AKC fitness program without any resting between sets, but my shoulders and arms were too fried, so I bailed early. I'm sure I could have finished it, but it would not have looked pretty and I would have skipped a workout tomorrow. So I bailed.
I have switched hands after every min or two lately, and I have not done any jerks at all for months, only long cycle.

I bet I feel this in the morning....

Tonight (Friday 1/2):

OALCC&J 1 pood 40 min hand switches every minute. Didn't count reps but kept a good pace throughout. Wanted to do 20 easy minutes, decided I could go longer. Probably could have gone an hour or more but didn't want to risk injury. And the football game was on. :)

Sunday (tonight):

OAS 1 pood 24 min hand switches every minute. Just wanted an easy 20 plus minutes. Was gonna do 30, but I had a crick in my neck that normally works itslef out when I lift KB's but wouldn't work out this time.
Stretched afterwards then took a 15 minute walk.

Tonight (Monday):

OALCC&J 1.5 pood 26 min hand switches every minute.

Thought about going for 30 min but my heart was beating through my chest, decided to back off. May have miscounted anyway, and had 28 or 30 min anyway. Was daydreaming a little in the teen minutes, and may have under-counted.
