OAS 20kg 20 min hand switches every min. Hands are chewed to pieces. The handle of my KB felt like a grinder.

Thurs: off
Fri :
OAS 20kg 8 min hand switch after 4 min. Very slow, 14-18 rpm.
Wanted a quick workout before I took my son camping.

Tonight (Sat)

OALC 24kg 8 min hand switch after 4 min. Rpm's very slow, 7-10 rpm. First min was hell, 7 rpm. last min was ok, 10 rpm.
Rested a min or so, thought about calling it a night, then:

OALC 20kg 8 min hand switch after 4 min. Rpm's = 10-11 rpm throughout.
Rested 1 min, then:

OALC 16kg 8 min hand switch after 4 min. Rpm's 10-12 rpm.

Fewer hand switches = higher intensity = higher heart rate.
Did not sleep on the camp out last night so I am dead. 24kg set almost killed me.

OAS 20kg 6 min hand switch after 3 min. 17-19 rpm throughout. Finished at 19 rpm.
Waited 1 min.
OAS 4 min hand switch after 2 min. 15-18 rpm. Left hhand grip almost gave out after min 2. Not sure why, 1st set felt great.
Waited 1 min.
OAS 6 min hand switch after 3 min. 17-19 rpm throughout.

This was alot harder than I expected. Especially considering I can lift either KB for maybe an hour if I switch hands on the minute. I think the grip strength for the longer sets gets little help at all from the multi-hand switch long sets.

Monday: Off

Tuesday (tonight):

OALC 24kg 20 min hand switches every 2 min. Did not feel like going for fewer hand switches, too tired tonight.

20+ minutes of OALC is very impressive.

Yes it is. That 40:00 w/ the 24kg was excellent work.

Thanks for the props, fellas.

Tonight's workout:

OAS 20kg 20 min hand switches every 2 minutes. Wanted a 20 min set but did not want the tension that comes with few hand switches (my work day was tense enough; I needed to unwind).

Friday: off

Saturday (tonight):

OAS 20 min 20kg hand switches every 2 min. This was actually harder for my forearms than I'd like to admit. This was a high-stress week with little rest, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Sunday (tonight)

OALC 22 min 24kg hand switches every min. Should have used the 20kg. I meant for this to be a "recovery" or "tonic" workout, after a very stressful week. Even though I felt like I could have gone twice as long, the weight just felt heavy tonight.

Tuesday: Off
Wednesday:
20 min 24kg hand switches every min.

Didn't want to be a hero either night. Just trying to recover after some stressful weeks.

Thursday (tonight):

OAS 20kg 22 min hand switches every min.

Still doing the tonic workouts until the stress goes down a little. When work slows down a little in a few weeks I'll probably reduce the number of hand switches.
