I have see the future and it ain't pretty. I've never seen so many fat fucks and people who could barely move in my life as I did on that cruise, it was nasty...and sad.

Monday:
Stair stepper, 30 min
The Vertical Lift, 10 sets of 10 R/10 L w/ 20# dumbells. Training note: After this exercise, I ALMOST walked across the pool, hellacious WTH effect. :finga:
15 min free stretching class.

Tues:
Stair stepper, 30 min
Press w/ two dumbells (40-45# IIRC) 10 sets of 10
Deadlift w/ two dumbells (65#), 10 sets of 10

Wed:
Bike/Snorkel tour. Pretty easy, though I feared one fat fuck was going to keel over on the way back to the ship. Dumb training moment: after the lion's share of two buckets of beer at Margaritaville (8 beers or so), I probably really didn't need to do a hard 30 min on the stairstepper. :partyman:

Thurs:
I forget, I think just 30 min on the elliptical

Friday:
10 sets of 10 on the overhead press machine ss. w/ 10 sets of 10 on the row machine. I wanna say 100# on the press and 120# on the row.
30 min on elliptical.

Note, things are going to change. Will start to weave a PTP-type cycle in w/ GS type stuff. Nothing fancy, just DL and press 3 times/week. Will try and do two 10 x 10 DL cycles in Nov/Dec. Was initially against it b/c of the back, but figure if I'm careful, working in DL regularly will be an opportunity to turn a weak point into a strength.

LOL

I went a cruise many years ago and at a strapping 5'8" 200# I was one of the 3 biggest (beat out by two huge black dudes) and top 2 in over all body comp (beat out by one of the previous mentioned black dudes) on the whole ship.

It's terrible how piss poor of shape most people are in.

I get sick of coworkers talking about how they want to work out and lose weight and yet they keep going back to the trough.

My favorite is a douchebag on my job asking me how I get up 2 hours before work to run and work out and still work all day. My answer was if I don't get up and do it I won't do it at all. Of course he caught me on a day I was being nice otherwise I would just told him I do it by not being a pussy.

Love the new log title.

It's funny, the first thing I thought of was your description of the Disneyland crowd. Funny story from Margaritaville, one of the games the DJ was playing involved women getting things out of the crowd. The final thing was for the last two ladies to get a guy out of the crowd to do pushups w/ her laying on top of him. One lady picks this young guy, big pecs, arms, six pack, no legs. The other lady grabs a short, stocky brother w/ a bit of gut as he was walking out of the pool. Brother won 10-3 and the ladies were similarly sized.

It's old school IGx.

Not surprising given all the people I saw sneezing and coughing on the ship, but work up yesterday feeling like crap, popped some cold meds and feel better this a.m.

Warm up
OALC w/ 16
10 min

DL
225 x 5 (conventional)
205 x 5 (sumo)

Will alternate between the two like this and in the cycles in Nov/Dec before deciding on one style, will most likely be sumo given my build, easier on the low back and can mirror KB LC.

OH Press
135 x 5
120 x 5

Just for fun

OAJ w/ 32
24 R/24 L

Clean w/ 32

10 min of SSST style snatching w/ the 16, switching every 5 or 10 reps to warm up

Jerks w/ 24s
6 min @ 8 RPM, extra 4 in the last minute. Well, yesterday took more out of me that I thought, I really wanted to put them down after 3 min.

Squat
bar x 10
135 x 10
225 x 10 x 3

Density stuff w/ 32
OAJ on odd min
Clean on even min
20 min total
5 R/5 L, 200 reps total, 100 OAJ, 100 cleans

EDIT: Forgot to mention what I'm sure was a couple @fitters at the gym. She was using one of the squat racks to do stiff-legged deads, making sure to strip down to short shorts and skin tight top before actually starting (which, since I was using the power rack behind her, I didn't mind a bit) and supersetting w/ band assisted pullups. The tip off, other than stripping down before starting and the exercise selection was she was wearing vibrams.

He was normally attired but for some reason (at least one other rack was open), insisted on doing deads right in the middle of the weight room so 1/2 the gym had to walk around him to get about.
