Yeah, I'm thinking the walks are why I'm able to still lose a little bit of weight whilst still eating like a goddman sow.

Iron Sport before work. There was serious high school/college brotard behavior going on (screaming 50kg push press in the rack next to me, really dude?), and I was the only chick in the weightroom. Forgot how awkward and slightly awesome that is, spoiled as I am with the garage lifting and constant feedback from a coach.

Jerks! My lovely powerful jerks, where hast thou gone? They were ugly as sin today. I dumped 65 in front of me the first time... which should not happen. Ever. Possibly related to the need for an adjustment and this stupid habit of looking down when I jerk that I picked up somewhere. The rack felt good though. RDLs are back, although at very light weights.

Tomorrow, The Daily Show tapipng with awesome rib cooking wife of coach and two other lifters. He's sending her to New York with three lesbians, what could possibly go wrong?

Sometimes the people in my life just don't understand that I really shouldn't help them move on heavy snatch day after having worked all night. Of course, saying such a thing to my hetero life partner BFF would be tantamount to treason. So. Moved an entire house. Got three hours of sleep. Opened an email from my coach that can best be described as "death by snatch volume." Met Matti Frost at Iron Sport.... and only made it through the snatches before deciding that exercising some discretion was in order and I was fucking going back to bed before working ANOTHER 12 hours.

Walked the dog who has inexplicably turned into a Were-Bernard, big fucker nipped me on the legs TWICE and then tried to chase down the neighbor kids with me still attached to the leash. Not that I'm against a little canine woofing to keep the neighbor sprogs in line, but still... he's not normally such a bastard. Of course once we get inside he's all lovey again. Idiot dog.

Now, stretching, laying on an ice pack, consulting the Quacktacular about how my job is frying my adrenals and probably killing me.

And then shit got weird. Stopped at the Turkey Hill on the way home for milk and some Silent Bob looking motherfucker gives me a goofy smile and a hello in the parking lot and then follows me into the store. So I'm all... hi? And he just walks away. No fucking idea what that was about.

Discretion being the better part of valor, I decided that there would be no training today. My knee needs to be worked on, and my mid-back is aching (probably from altered gait due to said knee). Chiro tomorrow, and then snatches at Iron Sport before work.
