8/6 taking some time off but after warmup/mobility worked with partner to long toss at around 200ft, took some infield and outfield.

off to summer camp for a week then start back up slowly for fall baseball

8/14 a bit sickj after camp but wanted to get some work in.

soft toss about 50 with wood bat and then top and bottom hand solo work.

then warmup then 50 balls OF.

8/16 field practice with new select team
8/22 started school and has baseball class every day as PE
8/23 select field practice
8/25 indoor hitting practice and caught pitchers

8/29 got driving permit after school so missed baseball "class". Really off season baseball practice in place of gym class.
Hit 80 balls and nearly a CVS sliding door on the way home.

8/31 hit 25 soft toss and 25 off tee with new BBCOR bat. There is a difference but strength and size is coming so quickly deader bat is moot for now.

9/1 hit 25 soft toss and 25 off tee before select practice. Caught 3 bullpens and hit there too.

has baseball practice everyday at school involving long toss and drills
9/10 HS JV doubleheader
1 for 5. caught 6 innings. had collision at plate and one in CF. Yikes.

had put PC in place of squats because he caught 4 innings saturday and had a collision but gotta listen to athletes when they tell you things.

9/27 hit at school practice then had on filed practice at night with select team
9/28 lifted with school team (lunge, front squat, GHR) varsity coaches noticed his mastery of GHR and nice fs and he was notpushing it. Payoff!
later went to field and hit 100 balls off the tee working on swing plane. This is a great drill because ball flight is immediate feedback. Hit last one out to RF Gap. Very cool.

10/1 played doubleheader, tied 4-4 and won 9-0.
1 for 3 and 3 walks. Nice diving catch in CF.

off week in weigth room but coaches had them do AMRAP pullups in 10 mins 10/6 and did 5x10, smoking group.

10/8 played doubleheader 0-4 with a walk and pitched 2 innings.

10/10 sore today so easy

10/11 -10/14 baseball at school everyday lifted friday. fs/linge, step up, pullup, ghr
10/11 practice with select team on field
10/13 hit with select team

10/15 doubleheader with school jv 1W, 1L 1-3, 2BB, 1 sac, caught 4 innings, hit 50 soft toss before left the house
10/16 doublheader with select 2W, 1-3, 2BB, 1HBP, hit 140 in cage on way to game

full HS training week plus 2 selct practices
saturday doubleheader 4-4 2 BB, won both
sunday tripleheader 2BB 0-4 loss, win, loss did make best catch of his life running into RC gap from center at full speed. turning and doubling off runner after catch. Specificity is not just for insects.
