Turns out shoulder is tendonitis. Doesn't seem to be a big deal at all - though it hurts a fair amount. Naproxen and a bit of PT coming up.

DL: 150/5x1, 170/3x1, 190/3x1, 210/3x2

Have been doing qigong & BW stuff most days. Working on shoulder issue.

Zercher: 135/3x3
Row: 135/3x3
DL: 150/3x1, 170/3x1, 190/3x1, 210/3x1, 220/3x1, 240/3x1

Lifting was fine. Interesting that alternate grip DL bothered shoulder. Double overhand didn't bother shoulder at all. Challenge is that hand strength was taxed at 220 & 240.

Qigong, BW, Indian clubs, Theraband Flex Band, some swings & shoulder rehab stuff. All meh but OK

My kid & his family are scheduled to get out of my basement and into their own home at the end of the month. Staying away from my weights till then.

A fair amount of what I'm doing now has had the surprising benefit of working out my forearms and they really need work so that's been good.

Been focusing on rehab, BW, KB's & qigong

Started hitting the heavy bag a bit a couple weeks ago. Call it Krav & plod. Hit the bag, stumble around the block. Repeat.

Today was first full blown Krav class in a long time. Great time - learned some new choke escapes. Also did a drill where I was surrounded by (4) people and had to strike them as directed. No defibrillator required but I was gassed. Shoulder feels fine so far.

Now, if my kid's mortgage will close, I'll get a few square feet in my basement to try to lift again.

Still can't do a pushup w/o pain but not complaining right now.

DL: 150/5x1, 170/5x1, 190/5x1, 210/3x1, 220/3x1, 230/3x1, 240/2x1, 250/2x1, 260/1x1, 270/1x1

Just came home from a 2 week trip where I did very little that was good for me (short hike in the Anza Borrego desert was an exception). My kid and his family moved out just before I left and I got to reclaim my basement lifting area today.

Really only planned on a few very light sets at 150 but felt great. Didn't even have my knee sleeves on. Had another 5 or 10 lb. in the bank too.

This is 30 lb. below my all time max. Considering that I haven't lifted in a very long time and how weak I've been feeling, I'm very pleasantly surprised by this.
