The time I would be working out in the morning has been used to catch up on sleep for the past few days. Monday night Rufus, my running partner whenever I want one, had to go to the emergency vet with bloat. They relieved the pressure and monitored him for the rest of that night. I took him to his regular vet Tuesday morning for surgery, which went well. I brought him home last night and he's doing fine, other than not wanting to eat much.

In unrelated (and very good) news, Mrs. Pink is at the beginning of her second trimester with our first kid.

This weekend I spent a few hours in a class on Israeli pistol methods. I went because I wanted instruction on point shooting. The class was fun, but I was a little disappointed that it focused more on the draw/cock/shoot method than on improving our point-shooting.

Yesterday,

Well that's the thing about "Israeli Pistol method". In a Nation that prides itself on it's own Hands to hand systems and perticipation in other martial arts, they are crazy about not having their weapon used against them to the point of advocating an un chambered carry (There are some good points to this.) even though their enemeis are decently gun savy themselves.
