kb presses 100 reps each arm with out setting it down. I used the 53 and took 12:23, sarah used a 20 and finished a few minutes before me. we did rest a time or two with the kb on our shoulder.

then did sled pulls forward and back

lifeline power wheel walks

the power wheel walks i counted as a carry(my bw), the clean and press was my pull/push and the farmers dl a squat. last night when I was doing them i thought of it as a hinge as well. after thinking about it i was wrong on that one,so i will pick up a hinge tonight. I had more on the 197lbs press but I did not want to jump to fast so i will work up to 3 reps over the next 2 times.

As I look at this medley I do not think it looks that hard, but it kicked my ass.

loch norman stone lift (with a squat)
175lbs 8 trips
at loch norman they start a stone between 2 barrels about 8' to 10'on each side, you pick up the stone carry it to one barrel set it down carry it back to the middle set it down pick it back up carry it to the other barrel set it down then carry it back to the middle. That is on trip I added a stone squat on each pick up and set down.

ring dips
bw 1set 3reps bw 4sets 2reps

kb cleans 88lbs did them for about 15 minutes not sure of the reps I did rest .

We did this 3 times I went 1 time through then she went then I went and so on. I shoe gooed some soling leather to the runners on my sled. It made it a lot harder to push.

I do not know why I have not been keeping up with this, I have not been over here that much. Training has been going very good. I have games coming up, 4/14/12 doing something with Dave Strunk games or demo not sure. I hope demo. 4/21/12 is Loch Norman I want to go very bad, I have been training like I am but not sure about the cash. I am in at Triad on the 28th ( that might not be the date) but I am in. 6/2/12 I have Laurel hill.

Just some thoughts, not sure why I am putting it here. I am not going to get into the Highland game gossip. But there was a group of women who killed the womens games down here. They cut back on womens games because of them, and stopped letting some come and throw and calling it a demo. The best way to get women back into the games down here is if they are willing to let you hang out and throw as a demo, is to show up and do the demo. A demo is a full games you just do not get your scores post at NASGA.

My first games demo went well. took our three games throws and then threw that event as much as we wanted. I took a lot of throws. Strunk did not seem to be as stressed about time and junk so he was big on the tips. Now I am going to sound like rant. I weighed on friday and was at 208, that is about where I was at my last games last year. I knew that the top of the back of my legs and the bottom of my butt were bigger but I did not know that my waist had got a good bit smaller. To make my kilt so it would not fall down the first hunk of velcro went well past the end. The 2nd strip of loop had to attach to the 1st strip of hook. Their is a good 3 to 4" flapping around. My belt has been 2 holes in but I just did not think about it.

threw my 175lbs stone across the park and back it took about 35 minutes. 14 throws across slight up hill and 8 back. then I did about 5 stone squats.
