Lots to do at work (graffiti on train and remove an elk who had wandered in front of another....)
so only did some rope climbing when I got home.

Think I`ll do some 50/20 with bench press,weighted pullups and kettlebell clean&presses (with doubles).

Tried to upload video to bookfacials,but as I didn`t have the rights to the ALICE IN CHAINS song I was listening to it didn`t work.Went shopping with the bosslady and them when I got home (sans warm up):

pullups bw+48kg/105.6lbs:1x3,ring push ups:1x22.

Had my doctors appointment yesterday.I am scheduled for an ultra sound examination in 2-4 weeks,see the doc again,see a surgeon......so this hernia sh-t will probably drag out rest of the year.
Doc said no heavy lifting (so,no skwaats or deadlifts etc) so I`ll probably end up looking like an inverted pyramid when christmas comes around as upper body stuff doesn`t seem to hurt my hernia.

Wednesday 24 aug
3 hour ruck with 18-20kg ruck,canoe,building shelter in woods,fishing and collecting plants.
Push ups:1x30

Thursday 25 aug
canoe,searching for plants etc.Push ups:1x30

Friday 26 aug
same thing as yesterday.Push ups:1x32

Saturday 27 aug
more of the same.Push ups:1x35

Sunday 28 aug
Push ups.1x51.First real food around noon.Have only eaten roots,plants and chicken/beef stock cubes mixed with water since tuesday evening (survival training).

Monday 29 aug

Well done rebounding from the survival stuff. You feeling back on track now? How's the bodyweight?

Whenever I have done something similar I will drop 10 lbs in a matter of days. Doesn't take long to get it back and the stamina normalizes a bit but the calorie deficit involved always leaves me feeling puny.

Lost 8.5lbs.Training started feeling better yesterday evening.One nice thing is that I feel like I have unlimited energy and want to move around a lot more than before.I think 5-6 days out in nature does that to you as everything you do outside is more strenous (walking is more balance taxing,you are either moving up/down etc).

Back to normal as I have a set of 20 normal pullups with bodyweight as kind of a baseline.If I can`t do that something is off.

Afternoon (wife went to another town,so me being alone....)
without ruck:

b.sandbag shoulder carry 39kg:4x50meters
c.jog:4x50meters
d.farmers walk 2x37kg:4x50meters

Playing with some ideas I found in Hanks log,will try working up to 8-10 rounds of the above with an added ruck (tried that in the am and need to work up to it....).

push ups:1x23-sandbag shoulder carry 46kg:50meters-jog:50meters-farmers walk 2x37kg:50 meters-up,run down up,run down for 50 meters (drop every 12.5 meters)-kettlebell cleans 2x30kg:1x3-farmers walk 2x37kg:15meters.

Lots of physiclly draining work after that during afternoon.


Saturday 10 set
first a long circuit with transition as rest:
pullups:1x22-push ups:1x40-sandbag shoulder carry 46kg:50 meters-walk 50 meters-farmers walk 2x37kg:50meters-walk 40 meters-kettlebell clean&press 2x30kg:3-pullups:3-push ups:10
short rest and then a slower,shorter circuit:

b:push ups:4x10
c.sandbag shouldering 39kg:6,3x4
d.farmers walk 2x37kg:4x25meters.

Got a set of farmers walk bars from a strength site in Germany.Cheaper as they had been used once in a competition.Had planned on just going for a LSD run and some disco work in he garage tomorrow,but I like the farmers walk bars and playing around with circuits so might do something similar tomorrow.
